The software should be installed and ready to accept calls from autodiallers to log events. A manned station (no PC/Software required) is possible by setting up SP BIT 4 to a [YES]. 5

Remote Programming Procedure of the Unit The autodialler has the facility to auto-answer an incoming call, after 15-30 seconds. Once the call has been answered, the programming mode can be instigated by a series of instructions etc. The programming will be by means of using DTMF from the calling telephone or a management computer based system. To enter into the remote programming mode, a RPA number must be entered in the following format *vvvv# within a time period of 30 seconds. (v is any digit 0 to 9). If the RAP is incorrect the system will go in the normal auto-answer mode after generation of the auto-answer tone again, i.e. line being connected to the speaker box, after the emission of a short tone. If the RAP number is correct, the system will output a Beep tone and wait for additional command tones for a period of 30 seconds before exiting and going in the normal auto-answer mode, i.e. line being connected to the speaker box, after the emission of a short tone. Exiting from the programming mode by either a command code sequence, or no activity for 30seconds whilst in the programming mode. (Note, when entering the remote programming mode, the call duration time period is suspended; and reestablished when existing from the programming mode). The following configuration needs to be implemented once in the programming mode. *00# Terminate Programming Mode *01# Request Report of Total Data for computer download use *vv* Report the Content of Specific location code. i.e. if *15* is entered, the system will produce Beep 15 Beep 5627899 Beep if the Phone number of the 5th number was 5627899. All the numbers can be announced using the LCALL VOICE in the programme. *10#0# Set all numbers to operate on Non CB/Hotline mode *10#1# Set all numbers to operate on CB/Hotline mode *11#v..v# Set 1st Number *12#v..v# Set 2nd Number *13#v..v# Set 3rd Number *14#v..v# Set 4th Number *15#v..v# Set 5th Number *21#v..v# Set the CONT number (Set Contract No.) *31#v# Set Lift Number to be announced *32#v# Set Call Duration *33#1# For Pulse Dialling 6

*33#0# For Tone (DTMF) Dialling *34#1# For Instant Triggering *34#0# For 3 Second Delayed Triggering *35#1# For Identifying the unit automatically on the phone line *35#0# No automatic identification on phone line *36#1# Set to AutoJump to the next number if call not confirmed *36#0# Non AutoJump *41#v# For setting/resetting SP Bit 1 *42#v# For setting/resetting SP Bit 2 *43#v# For setting/resetting SP Bit 3 *44#v# For setting/resetting SP Bit 4 *45#v# For setting/resetting SP Bit 5 An incorrect RPA number should result in the person being ejected out of the programming mode; after a long tone and into the normal incoming call mode I.e. when he terminates an incorrect RPAN with a # or if he times out as no terminator has been detected say 15 seconds or so. If an incorrect command is entered for any reason, which must include timing out for not completing the command say 15 seconds or so, the system should respond by means of long tone. Note: all other tones must be relatively shorter than this long tone. (Use the DTMF chip tone generation facility or if you have too, use the speech synthesis chip tone facility). If an incorrect entry is made, the system must not eject the user from the programming mode. To fetch programmed parameters from the autodialler system send *01# command to the autodialler. This will be immediately responded by a string of continuous data which consists of all programmed parameters. The format is as shown below: Command: *01# Response: *11#vvv vvv# (1 st number) *12#vvv vvv# (2 nd number) *13#vvv vvv# (3 rd number) *14#vvv vvv# (4 th number) *15#vvv vvv# (5 th number) *21#vvv vvv# (CONT. No.) *31#v# (Lift No.) *32#v# (Call Duration) *33#v# (Pulse/DTMF Dialling) *34#v# (Trigger Delay) *35#v# (Auto Jump) *41#v# (SP Bit 1) *42#v# (SP Bit 2) *43#v# (SP Bit 3) *44#v# (SP Bit 4) *45#v# (SP Bit 5) 7
