Client information Client: Address: NanoPhos SA Technological & Science Park P.O. Box 519 Lavrio 19500 Greece The results relate only to the items tested. The test report should only be reproduced in extenso - in extracts only with a written agreement with this institute. Page 2 of 5

1. Product NanoPhos coating system: EPR (Epoxy Primer) and EEN (Enamel Epoxy) for steel. 2. Manufacturer The client is the manufacturer. 3. Test method The test specimens have been subjected to the standard fire test complying with the International Code for Application of Fire Test Procedures, 2010 Resolution MSC.307(88), 2010 FTP Code, Annex 1 Part 5: Test for surface flammability. Furthermore the test was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, St. Petersburg, cf. Recognition Certificate of Testing Laboratory No. 15.02250.313 valid until 19th September 2020. 4. Sample 2015-09-15 DBI-Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology received five test specimens of dimensions (length x width) 795 x 155 mm; thickness 3.35 mm. The specimens consisted of 3 mm thick steel sheets with white paint applied on one side. Weight per unit area: 23.9 kg/m 2 as determined by weight and measurements of the test specimens. Material specification (stated by the client) NanoPhos Coating System: EPR (EPOXY PRIMER) and EEN (ENAMEL EPOXY) Total layer thickness: 180 µm. Primer: 1 x 100 µm; Enamel: 1 x 80 µm. Further material specification was given by the client and has been filed at DBI under the file number below. 5. Conditioning The specimens were conditioned in accordance with paragraph 7.7 of appendix 1 to part 5. Page 3 of 5

6. Test results Date of test: 2015-10-09. Pilot flame: Impinging propane/air. No. of test runs: 3 The test results are shown in full detail in enclosure 1. Derived fire characteristics Test No. 1 2 3 Average Duration of test (s) 682 656 718 Not applicable CFE (kw/m 2 ) 38.0 39.4 38.4 38.6 Q sb (MJ/m 2 ) 13.1 13.0 14.5 13.5 Q t (MJ) 0.14 0.10 0.16 0.13 q p (kw) 0.82 0.79 0.82 0.81 Burning droplets No. 0 0 0 0 Observations: None CFE: Q sb : Q t : q p : Critical flux at extinguishment Heat for sustained burning Total heat release Peak heat release rate Page 4 of 5

7. Conclusion The investigated sample of paint designated NanoPhos coating system EPR and EEN applied on steel in respectively 1 x 100 m and 1 x 80 µm (layer thickness) fulfils the surface flammability criteria for bulkhead, wall and ceiling linings as listed in IMO 2010 FTP Code Part 5 and is therefore considered to meet the requirement for low flame-spread in compliance with the relevant regulations in chapter II - 2 of the Convention. 8. Statement As the NanoPhos coating system EPR and EEN as applied, has a total heat release (Q t ) of not more than 0.2 MJ and a peak heat rate (q p ) of not more than 1.0 kw, it is considered to comply with the requirements of part 2 without further testing, cf. paragraph 2.7 of appendix 4 to part 5. (Reference to IMO 2010 FTP Code, paragraph 2.2 of annex 2.) 9. Note The test results relate only to the behavior of the test specimens of a product under the particular conditions of the test; they are not intended to be the sole criterion for assessing the potential fire hazard of the product in use.
