Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro 856 Pro Maximized Comfort Blockage-Free Operation OPTIONAL 3-STAGE SWIVEL CHUTE NEW DRUM FEED CONTROL SYSTEM INTEGRATED LIGHTING KIT 2 Focus On User-Friendliness The new Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro & 856 Pro have seen a number of updates compared to the well-established Kverneland Taarup 850 bale chopper range, to meet the highest demands when it comes to operator comfort and blockage-free operation. Among the updates is the inclusion of the Drum Feed Control System (DFCS) on 853 Pro, which ensures the best possible flow through the flywheel. A Full Feature Machine Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro and 856 Pro features an extensive standard package including a wide angle PTO for troublefree operation at extreme angles, as well as integrated lighting kit and on top of this the aggressiveness of the comb can be adjusted to suit any structure of material. All that is needed is to mount the add-on plates onto the comb. Both models are standard fitted with light kit.

Drum Feed Control System Blockage Free Design NEW FLYWHEEL CONFIGURATION Easy to Use Operation is reduced to a minimum. During loading DFCS is engaged, which means that the comb is in a lowered position. This ensures that blockages of the flywheel is minimized during the start up process. REMOTE CONTROL FOR FLOOR CHAIN AND REAR DOOR Once the flywheel speed is at a sufficient level, all you need to do is to push a button and the DFCS fingers will be gradually disengaged and open for full flow through the flywheel resulting in perfect flow. The progressive release of the fingers offers a more gentle start, protecting the machine and minimizing the risk of blockages. A reliable and simple system with minimum maintenance! NEW EXTENDED DRAWBAR Kverneland Patent - DFCS disengaged for maximum flow through the flywheel. DFCS engaged to reduce the risk of blockages during loading and flywheel start up. Two-Speed Gearbox for Bedding or Feeding Configurations To provide the correct flywheel speed for bedding and feeding the Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro and 856 Pro are fitted with a two speed gearbox. At lower speeds the flywheel ensures a metered flow of silage or hay for feeding. At high speed a powerful blow for the most efficient distribution during bedding is ensured. The gearbox speed is adjusted via the handle on the side of the machine. Two speed gearbox is standard on both models. 3

Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro 856 Pro The Working Heart Unique Drum Design to Handle a Wide Variety of Materials The Kverneland Taarup 850 Pro range includes a new unique drum knife configuration. Standard on models 853 Pro & 856 Pro, the knives are mounted on angled rings so that they pass a fixed comb on alternative sides. This ensures that materials are cut and fed into the flywheel chamber evenly, reducing the risk of blockage, offering even discharge & leaving the drum and comb clean. The drum is fitted with 14 blades as standard, but will accept a further 28 blades according to material type simply bolt them on in a matter of minutes. A patented system - the knives pass the fixed comb on alternative sides for a more even cut. 4

In-Cab and Remote Controls On top of the control terminal located inside the tractor cab, Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro and 856 Pro have been equipped with an additional remote controlled switch for the floor chain and rear door. The ability to operate these functions directly from the side of the machine, saves valuable time during loading. Easy-to-use terminal for full control of all functions from the tractor cab and remote control for floor chain and rear door. Floor Conveyor The floor conveyor of the Kverneland Taarup 850 Pro range consists of a hydraulically driven chain and slat floor conveyor with variable speed and reversing facility. The relationship between floor conveyor and shredding drums is carefully designed to ensure smooth material flow. The floor conveyor runs on two wear strips made of special Ultraglide plastic material to reduce friction and increase chain life. Slat spacing has been specially determined to ensure consistent and even feed to the shredding drums. The strong conveyor slats are designed for quick and easy individual replacement. A rotating marker allows the operator to see the speed and direction of the floor conveyor from the tractor seat. The conveyor has an enclosed lower tray to ensure no spillage or crop loss. Heavy duty nylon (PA6) rear chain rollers guarantee extended longevity. 5

Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro 856 Pro Premium In Every Detail 2 3 3 2 1 1 Special flywheel configuration ensures a blowing distance of up to 25m. Specialised Flywheel Configuration A new flywheel configuration has been developed for Kverneland Taarup 853 Pro & 856 Pro. To maximise airflow the 1.55m diameter flywheel is fitted with 6 large front blower paddles. These paddles ensure optimum flow towards the chute for an extended blowing distance, as well as an excellent cleaning of the flywheel housing. Additionally the flywheel features 3 main paddles for an increased intake of material from chamber to flywheel. The flywheel does not chop the straw, thus ensuring virtually full length material suitable for bedding of covered yard areas. In combination with the standard 2-speed gearbox the flywheel can throw straw for bedding or gently feed hay/silage at the side of the machine (at low speed). The new designed 3-stage swivel chute enables the perfect combination of extensive blowing distance and feeding into high troughs. The optional swivel chute is divided into 3 sections for best possible flexibility during operation. 6

4 Increased Manoeuvrability Both Pro models feature an extended drawbar to provide best possible manoeuvrability during operation. The extended drawbar ensures easier operation, especially when turning with larger tyred tractors.
