Just keep in mind that Quinze & Milan collections go beyond furniture design. Our products prompt you to spin tales, to dream and to shape a reality all your own. Created by guest designers from various disciplines, Quinze & Milan collections encompass parts of a whole rather than existing as solitary objects. These are designer pieces that imbue a space with meaning by skirting the edges of all that is obvious. Pieces that exude energy and push the envelope of design. All our collections are rooted in specific projects, including public schemes, thus guaranteeing an extensive development phase and thoroughly tested results. Furniture designs are available in a standard range of 31 QM FOAM colours, as well as with leather or fabric upholstery. MAKE YOUR OWN FURNITURE On request, we can make exactly what you want. Quinze & Milan is a platform that supports architects and designers in the realization of their ideas. We like to push the boundaries our own and those of the people around us. In our cosmos, boundaries exist only to be shifted In addition to producing furniture at our in-house factory, we work in close collaboration with specialized manufacturers that make use of Quinze & Milan s proprietary equipment when producing products and designs. In both cases, the result is a quality product that has the added advantage of flexibility particularly important when serving clients with special requirements. WHO S BAD? From the outset, Quinze & Milan used the slogan Creators of Atmosphere: a piece of furniture was not an aim in itself but a medium for a lifestyle that set out to challenge the reigning minimalism: wild and sexy, carefree and fun, loud and outrageous. Even the most respectable and critical international trade magazines soon welcomed Q&M as the pop star of furniture and the bad boys of the design world: a bit of punk, but also a bit of Prada.

WE LOVE COLOR. Quinze & Milan is not a typical furniture label but an avant-garde platform for collaborations, a think tank and factory for ideas, designs, visual culture, concepts and experiments. It s this approach that made Quinze & Milan turn into a successful label that guarantees rock n roll, creativity, comfort, quality, excitement and ingenuity.

JELLYFISH A SEAT THAT RUFFLES THE FEATHERS A relaxing chair that encourages active use, a seat for lounging, for listening to music, for having a bite to eat, for talking with friends. The dynamic Jellyfish is a modern rocking chair. Owing to the rounded form of the base, the chair moves slightly. It s a seat that ruffles the feathers, so to speak, but in a positive way. ROUND EASY SOCIALIZING Round was originally designed for the University Library, a part of the Danish Royal Library, Copenhagen. Round was created to cater for easy socializing in the lounge areas. By composing the various basic elements it is easy to create a relaxed landscape of seating and socializing possibilities. The new humanities faculty library offers the students a well designed, functional library building designed with singular focus on creating the optimum facility based on users needs. M2 FLEXIBLE BY NATURE Flexible by nature and ideal for large public spaces, the M2 is a modular seating system designed by Scott Wilson for Quinze & Milan. Three basic units (corner, linear and level units), each 1m, supported by powder-coated steel frames fit together to form the desired configuration. A LOOK THAT FUSES THE TIMELESS WITH SOMETHING DIFFERENT ROOM 26 has a look that fuses the familiar and the timeless with something different, offering an extensive range of products that can transform an interior into a space that shouts 26 or, when used sparingly, can conjure up a room that barely whispers the word. Key to the collection is oak, a material playfully combined with fabric, leather or QM FOAM. Selected ROOM 26 items are also available upholstered in leather and fabric.

QUARTZ FORBIDDEN COLORS Quinze & Milan tackles geometry once again and has furthered its work on forms and faceting, seeking new effects from the wood and creating a chair whose design is a combination of the past and future. Using the most classic of materials, Quinze & Milan has successfully made an object with a symbolic shape in which the material gains qualities of luminosity. Quartz is an object of the future that retains the intrinsic value of wood strong and hard-wearing, comfortable and basic. We wanted to give the material a different look without however ignoring its natural qualities. The facets give a dynamic and vibrant appeal, while the surface plays with the light, creating a sparkling effect. Just like quartz. Available in black ash only.

HONEYCOMB SHELVING FOR BUSY BEES Honeycombs one of the oldest architectural concepts known, inspired this design of a flexible shelving system. Of course we had to call it HONEYCOMB. The individual units are made from rotation-molded thin walled polyethylene resulting in an exceptional transparency and rigidity. A straightforward riveting system allows for an efficient and reversible installation with unlimited and flexible compositions. BAG STOOL Referencing material consumption, Gitta Gschwendtner has created concrete and woodcrete stools cast from moulds based on paper shopping bags. Their individual, irregular form is created during the casting process. This playful design looks like it s popping up right from the ground. Gschwendtner poses people consume too much today and she wants to turn around the process just like she turns up side down the shopping bag into a sitting element. Design Gitta Gschwendtner

MINUS + RUN, PLAY, HIDE AND SEEK. Playful. soft. Cosy. stripped of fuss and frills Minus+ emerged from a need for furniture that zooms in on the world of a child. Furniture that stimulates to play and hide and at the same time gets the seal of approval from their parents. LITTLE MISS O When UN Studio asked them to design certain areas for their major project, the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, CONCRETE AMSTERDAM based all its designwork, down to the very detail on the specific identity of the owner. Their aim was to create identity within a total space experience: create individual worlds where a single visitor identifies with and which invites him to stay. LITTLE MISS O, which is placed in the children island, is a result from that research and provides an ideal playground where to nurse children and play with them. Design Concrete Amsterdam
