program underwriting Each year, thousands of children and adults visit the Botanical Garden to learn about plants and ecosystems in a practical way. Funding transportation for a class of students, supplies and staff for a week-long summer camp or volunteer needs are some ways your company can help students access quality educational programming that is fun and effective. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and recognized. Children s Vegetable Garden - The second oldest program of its kind in the nation teaches children how to grow, nurture and harvest a garden of vegetables, fruit, and flowers. Terrarium Ecosystem Program - Our signature field-trip program exposes children to ecology and life sciences by allowing them to get their hands dirty and connect with nature. Teacher education programs instruct educators on how to engage children in outdoor learning and tie lessons at the Garden into the school curriculum. Junior Naturalist and Junior Gardener camps immerse children in the world of plants and nature. Little Sprouts engages the youngest children in garden-related activities. Animal Botanical allows special needs children to enjoy the Garden. Career programs such as Certified Arborist Training promote smart landscaping and gardening practices for horticulture or landscaping professionals. Our year-long Art in the Garden exhibit provides Dog Days nurtures the human-canine bond by allowing dogs to accompany their owners to the Garden. Splendor in the Garden Gala is a magical evening of food, friends, dinner and dancing in the gorgeous Garden setting. outstanding sculptural arts experiences for the Garden s 130,000 annual visitors. Taught by professionals and experienced volunteers, Garden classes are fun and educational. Children Children explore nature and get their hands on horticulture with fun, interactive classes and camps.
