Description of EQ3XXXabcd (Controller): The Controller, Model EQ3XXX, performs all communication, command and control functions for the Eagle Quantum Premier System. The Controller supports both static and programmable logic. Among the features included in the Controller are 8 programmable unsupervised inputs, 8 unsupervised relay outputs, an RS-485 Modbus slave communication interface and an optional ControlNet communication board. The module is housed in a cast aluminium enclosure with optional DIN-rail mount or panel mount configurations. The Controller EQ3XXX can be connected to the following Field Devices: PIRECL IR Gas Detector, OPECL Open Path Gas Detector, X3301/X3302 Multi-spectrum Flame Detector, X2200 UV Flame Detector, X5200 UV/IR Flame Detector, X9800 IR Flame Detector, C7050 UV Flame Detector, EQ22XXDCU, EQ22XXDCUEX, EQ22XXIDC, EQ22XXIDCGF, EQ22XXIDCSC, EQ24XXNE, EQ24XXPLR, EQ25XXARM, EQ25XXSAM, EQ3700DCIO, EQ3710AIM, EQ3720RM, EQ3730EDIO, EQ3740IPM & EQ3750ASH. Description of EQ3700ab (DCIO): The (8 channel) Discrete Input/Output Module, Model EQ3700 DCIO, consists of 8 individually configured (wired as Input or Output) channels. Wiring supervision includes none, open circuits, and open and short circuits. In addition to defining the type of supervision, an input channel is also configured to generate the appropriate static logic alarm message to the controller. Heat, smoke, or unitised flame detectors can be wired into channels defined as inputs. Horns, strobes, beacons and solenoids can be wired into channels defined as outputs. The module is housed in a cast aluminium enclosure with optional DIN-rail mount or panel mount configurations. Description of EQ3710ab (AIM): The Analog Input Module, Model EQ3710 AIM, is an 8-channel microprocessor based module providing 4-20mA analog input. Each channel on the module has LED status indicators for both active and fault conditions. The module is housed in a cast aluminium enclosure with optional DIN-rail mount or panel mount configurations. Description of EQ3720ab (RM): The Relay Module, Model EQ3720 RM is an 8-channel microprocessor based module providing unsupervised relay contact operation. Each output point is intended for dry contact output operation. The relays can be wired for normally open or normally closed contacts and can be configured for a normally energized or de-energized relay coil. In addition, the module can be configured for hold last state, active or inactive after LON communications have been lost for more than one minute. The module is housed in a cast aluminium enclosure with optional DIN-rail mount or panel mount configurations. Description of EQ3730ab (EDIO): The Enhanced Discrete Input/Output Module, Model EQ3730 EDIO, provides 8 channels of configurable input or output points for the Eagle Quantum Premier System. These input and output points can be programmed for supervised or unsupervised operation. Each input point can accept fire detection devices. Each output point can be configured for signalling or releasing output operation. Each channel on the module is provided with individual indicators for active and fault conditions. The module is housed in a cast aluminium enclosure with optional DIN-rail mount or panel mount configurations. Description of EQ3740ab (IPM): The Intelligent Protection Module, Model EQ3740 IPM, is an 8-channel microprocessor based module that can be configured for supervised or unsupervised input/output operation. Each channel on the module has LED status indicators for both active and fault conditions. The module is housed in a cast aluminium enclosure with optional DIN-rail mount or panel mount configurations. Description of EQ3750ab (ASH): The Addressable Smoke and Heat Module, Model EQ3750 ASH expand the Eagle Quantum Premier System and provide power and communications to 64 addressable devices such as flame, gas, smoke and heat detectors. Description of EQ3800/EQ3810ab (PDM): The Power Distribution Module, Model EQ3800/EQ3810, integrates isolation, conditioning, monitoring and distribution to outputs that power thecontroller, cabinet devices and field devices. It is used to provide continuous power to the outputs by relying on two independent input power sources (one line power source and one backed up power source). Description of EQ2220 (GFM): The Ground Fault Monitor (GFM), model EQ2220 provides ground fault monitoring in a system. The GFM consists of an electronic circuit where the output is a contact closure in the presence of a ground fault. The GFM has three LED s used to provide a visual indication of device status. The GFM is intended for mounting in the same protective enclosure as the gas detection system controller. Description of Lon Termination Module (LTM): The LON Termination Module (LTM), Model Number 008982-001, consists of an RC circuit that is to act as interface between LON and EQP Controller. The LTM is intended for mounting in the same protective enclosure as the gas detection system controller. Page 1 of 5

Description of Hart Interface Module (HIM): The HART Interface Module (HIM), Model Nr. 008056-001, consists of an RC circuit that is to be connected only to the EQ3710 Analog Input Module. This interface module provides additional impedance to meet HART Interface specifications. The HIM is intended for mounting in the same protective enclosure as the gas detection system controller. The controller and modules may only be installed, connected or removed when the area is known to be non-hazardous. The maximum surface temperature inside the controller and modules does not exceed 130 C (except for EQ3800/EQ3810, PDM, which does not exceed 195 C). For ambient temperatures above 60 C conductors suitable for at least 20 C above the ambient temperature must be used.
