ABOUT G&T G&T is a furniture and homewares brand and collaboration between award-winning British designer Bethan Gray and industry recognised furniture developer Thomas Turner. G&T focuses on the design and manufacture of contemporary yet timeless families of elegant products using intriguing and seductive combinations of natural materials, adding exciting and elegant detail. The design and development process nurtures highly-skilled and motivated manufacturers, who are passionate about their work and take personal pride in their craftsmanship. Working in collaboration with carefully selected, like-minded retailers with similar values and vision, G&T provides products to a discerning international consumer. G&T also offers the flexibility to meet the requirements of the interior design and contract market, through both tailoring the standard products with bespoke material options and sizes, together with designing and developing new products to specification. 3

ABOUT BETHAN GRAY Welsh born Bethan Gray is one of Britain s most celebrated furniture designers best known for her liveable, honest and warm designs. She first came to recognition when she was awarded the Habitat Innovation Award by Tom Dixon at New Designers in 1998 and has since won three Elle Decoration Design Awards for Best in Kitchen in 2005 and Best High Street Retailer in 2007 and 2008. Working closely with Matthew Hilton during his residence at Habitat, Bethan was made Head of Furniture Design before setting up her own studio in 2008. Most recently Bethan has established G&T - a collaboration with Thomas Turner - and has also attracted the attention of major international retailers including John Lewis which carries the exclusive Noah collection, The Conran Shop, Liberty London and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong. Bethan is also a regular contributor to STYLUS, reporting on furniture intelligence and inspiration and is a visiting lecturer at Central St Martins. With a passion for the warmth of wood and leather, as well as the appeal of stone, Bethan is inspired by shape, texture and detail, and influenced by her travels and the everyday objects that that surround her. 5

CARVE A generous marble-topped table with a carved rim on a solid wood base with turned legs. Based on the traditional three-legged table found throughout Wales as a solution to uneven slate floors, Carve is a modern interpretation of a classic archetype. The range of tables embodies a seductive combination of high-quality natural materials and detailed production techniques. The natural character of marble provides a unique pattern to each table. When combined with a variety of wood options, this creates a product with its own distinct story, feel and personality. Carve is available in various size and base options and can work as either a side, coffee, bedside or lamp table. Tops are available in white, grey and black marble or solid oak and walnut. The base is offered in solid oak or walnut. Bespoke marble options are available upon request. 7

BROGUE An elegant leather-topped, solid wood table featuring intricate waxthread stitched brogue detailing. Traditionally used in shoe production, brogueing is an instantly recognisable detail that resonates with our passion for intricate craftbased techniques. The tables are produced using high-quality top grain leather, which has been treated to give a durable finish. As with the best upholstery, the table will age with use creating a piece of furniture that develops its own individual personality, thus becoming a future heirloom. Brogue is available in a range of size and base options and can work as a side, coffee, bedside or lamp table. Finishes include white or tan leather with oak or walnut bases. Bespoke leather options are available upon request. 23
