What to do when locked out of you flat If you have locked yourself out of you flat outside the opening hours of Beboerservice, we kindly suggest that you contact the following locksmith: Nordjysk Låseservice Telephone 98 16 87 88 Nordjysk Låseservice has a main key to all flats of Brohusgade 2 A, 4 B and 4 C as well as Vestre Havnepromenade 1C. If you choose another locksmith there might be a risk that the lock cylinder breaks when opening your door, and you ll then have to pay additional for a new cylinder and a recoding when moving out. Kindly note that when you call a locksmith you have to be able to show proof of your identity. Furthermore, the locksmith will ask for immediate payment on-site. Kind regards The caretaker 2.

Worth knowing Borrowing of a drilling machine Some of the walls in the building are made of concrete and therefore the department provides a special drilling machine free of charge. Kindly contact Beboerservice for more information, Tel. 96 331 331. Internet connection In dept. 53 the internet connection is via YouSee. Please contact YouSee, Tel. 70704040, to inform them which internet connection bandwidth you wish to have. YouSee shall then send a router to you. Electricity reading Brohusgade 2 A + some flats in 4 A and Vestre Havnepromenade 1 C: The electricity meter is placed on the wall outside your flat and close to your door behind a grey cover. Brohusgade 4 A + 4 B+ 4 C: The electricity meter is placed in the grey electricity meter cabinet in the basement close to the mailboxes. Turning off the water supply - hot and cold water: Brohusgade 2 A + 4 C + Vestre Havnepromenade 1 C: It is possible to turn off the water supply - hot and cold on the red shut-off valves placed at the bottom of the high, slim closet (towards the bathroom). Brohusgade 4 A: It is possible to turn off the water supply hot and cold on the red shut-off valves placed at the bottom of the closet under the kitchen sink (behind the white cover inside the closet). NB! In a few flats the shut-off valves is placed as in Brohusgade 2A. 3.

Worth knowing Brohusgade 4 B: It is possible to turn off the water supply hot and cold on the red shut-off valves placed at the bottom of the high, slim closet in the corridor behind the entrance door. The galleries/corridors Do not leave any waste in the galleries/corridors. They have status of fire exits and there must be free accessibility at all times. Furthermore, waste items left in the galleries/corridors attracts seagulls and bothers your neighbors. Stair cleaning The stairs are cleaned regularly by a professional cleaning company: Once a week in stairways 2A-4A. In the other stairways of Dept. 53 the stairways cleaning is every second week. All stairways must be kept tidy before the stair cleaning. Party facilities It is possible to rent party facilities. List of defects, damages and deficiencies When moving into your new home you must make a list of defects, damages and deficiencies that you find in the flat. The list is valid only if you have declared the list to the link in the report of the takeover inspection (forwarded to you by mail). When you have made the list of defects, damages and deficiencies you must arrange for a meeting with the caretaker in order to go through the list. Please contact Beboerservice, Tel. 96 331 331, to arrange for this meeting no later than 14 days after your moving in. It is very important, that the list of defects, damages and deficiencies is as detailed as possible/is filled in correctly to make sure that you when moving out do not risk to be held liable/to be obliged to pay for damages caused before your moving in. 5.

Rent The rent is due on the 1 st of each month. We kindly ask you to contact us if you have not received the bill for the rent before the 1 st of the month. We recommend that you contact your bank to sign up for payment service. 6.

Cleaning checklist for vacation of premises We kindly draw your attention to the fact, that when moving out, you might save expenses for extraordinary cleaning, if you have cleaned the flat yourself as mentioned below: 1. Washing of all woodwork and doors - including drawers and closets/cabinets. 2. Cleaning the radiators remember the back and all spaces. 3. Cleaning of sink drains incl. the drain traps. 4. Cleaning of floor gratings and drain traps in the shower stall. 5. Cleaning of the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink. Sanitary appliances (mixer faucet) Shower, toilet, floor tiles and wall tiles. Ventilation devices. 6. Cleaning windows and polishing mirrors. 7. Washing of all floors. 8. Cleaning of the stove also removing burnt-on grease. Remember to pull the stove out and clean behind it. 9. Cleaning of the exhaust hood Filters must be taken out and grease removed. 10. Remember emptying the basement storage. Start cleaning well in advance since some of these tasks may need to be re-done several times. Unless otherwise agreed with the caretaker, various fittings that have been installed by the tenant are to be removed (for curtains, blinds, shower curtain and lamps). REMEMBER that all keys/key chips, laundry chips must be handed in at the moving out inspection of the premises. 7.

Important when moving out! We kindly draw your attention to the fact that it is not allowed to place waste, furniture, home appliances or other waste items in the corner of the garage.
