WHY CHOOSE INFRARED HEATERS FROM STAR PROGETTI LOCAL WARMING In drawings (Figs. 1 and 2) you can see the differences between a traditional hot air system and the heat produced by HELIOSA SERIE 9. Like the sun, it is an immediate, ecological heat, without movement of air and without dispersion. With the local warming of HELIOSA SERIE 9 it is possible to heat only the areas of interest and for the necessary time. The savings compared to traditional systems is over 70%. TIPS FOR A CORRECT INSTALLATION MAXIMUM COMFORT The areas of coverage may vary depending on heater model, installation height and synergy with additional heaters installed. To optimize user comfort, it is recommended to consider heat power, coverage area and recommended installation height. Star Progetti offers free technical assistance to all its customers for correct sizing. BASIC TECHNIQUE As a basic technique it is advisable simulate the use of a spot lighting system where lamps are placed on the wall and aimed at the areas to be illuminated. As in lighting, it is recommended to arrange the sources uniformly to reduce shadow areas and maximize heated area. In the hospitality industry note that the longer the stay of the guests, the more irradiation is required to ensure adequate comfort. In case of high humidity levels, it is advisable to increase the amount of irradiation. WALL INSTALLATION It is the most frequent solution and allows placing the heaters in a way that is noninvasive to the interior design. For wall installation each model includes an accessory for mounting and orientation. INSTALLATION UNDER LARGE PARASOLS AND AWNINGS For these installations, connection accessories are provided for each model (page 25). Fig. 2 HELIOSA SERIE 9 As with light, the heat is aimed and maintained, without dispersion, only on areas of interest. The result is solar-quality heat, a comfortable environment, without noise and dust, only for the time necessary, with signficant energy savings: over 70% because it only heats the areas of interest. HEATER ORIENTATION To optimize heat efficiency, the wall-, ceiling- and support-mounted heaters must be oriented at 45 and at the distances recommended in the instruction manual. The 45 installation allows a larger heated area and a transverse heat that better reaches the surfaces to be heated, both on persons and objects. The intersection of the heat beams allows, with a good installation, uniform coverage of all the areas desired. SIZING Free technical assistance is offered to all our customers for correct sizing. HEATED AREA The heated surfaces indicated may vary according to installation height, environmental situation and the synergy achieved with additional heaters installed.
