Avon Fire and Rescue Background The March 2013 Citizens Panel questionnaire was sent to 1903 Citizens' Panel members. In total 1145 people responded, a 60% response. Each question shows the Base response the total number of people who responded to that question. Some people may have responded to the survey, but not every question within it. Summary 45% of respondents were satisfied with Avon Fire and Rescue Service, none were dissatisfied. 48% did not know or had not used the service. 84% of respondents were confident that Avon Fire and Rescue Service would reach them in an emergency. Only 1% were unconfident of this. Respondents indicated the most popular way for Avon Fire and Rescue service to promote advice about fire safety in homes would be to post leaflets through front doors (53%). Following this was handing out leaflets at local events (39%) and using social media (36%). Just over half of respondents were aware that Avon Fire and Rescue Service visits peoples homes to provide fire safety advice and education (52%)
