Important information Important information Proper use The machine is digned and intded for private domtic use. It should oy be used to cool milk and keep h in the stais steel container supied. Use for any other purpose will be deemed improper. JURA cant acce any rponsibily for the consequc of improper use. Before using the machine read the instctions for use thoroughly and cometely and comy wh the instctions they contain. A warranty service is t apicable for damage or defects caused by n-comiance wh the instctions for use. Keep the instctions for use close to the machine and pass them on to the next user. For your safety Please carefully read and observe the important safety information set out below. To avoid danger of pottially fatal electric shock: Never use a machine which is damaged or has a defective mains cable. Never start the machine wh wet hands. Before starting the machine, sure that the mains cable is dry. Oy use the power supy un supied as standard to connect the machine to the alternating currt network. In the evt of signs of damage, for exame if there is a smell of burning, unug the machine immediately om the mains supy and contact JURA service. If the mains cable of this machine is damaged, must be repaired eher directly by JURA or by an authorised JURA service ctre. Make sure that the Cool Control and the mains cable are t located close to hot surfac or naked flam. Be careful to sure that the mains cable is t trapped and do t b against sharp edg. Never op and repair the machine yourself. Do t modify the machine in any way that is t dcribed in the instctions for use. The machine contains live parts. Repairs may oy be carried out by authorised JURA service ctr, using original spare parts and accsori. 11
Important information A defective machine is t safe and could cause injury or fire. To avoid damage and any associated risk of injury or fire: Ensure that the vtilation slots 12 are t covered. Never allow the mains cable to loosely hang down. The mains cable could pose a tripping hazard or become damaged. Protect your Cool Control om vironmtal influc such as rain, ost and direct suight. Do t immerse the Cool Control, cable or connections in water. Do t put the Cool Control or any individual parts in the dishwasher. Swch your Cool Control off before cleaning and disconnect the mains ug. Always wipe the Cool Control wh a damp cloth rather than a wet one, and protect om prolonged exposure to water sash. Do t pour the milk you want to cool directly into the machine. Use the stais steel container supied as standard. Oy connect the machine to the mains voltage in accordance wh the information on the rating ate. The rating ate is located on the underside of your Cool Control. Further technical data is provided in the instctions for use (see Chaer 4 Technical data ). Swch the machine off if you are going to be abst for a longer period of time. Oy operate the machine wh supervised. Childr may t clean or service the machine us supervised by a rponsible person. Do t allow childr to ay wh the machine. Keep childr under the age of 8 away om the machine, or supervise them constantly. Childr aged 8 and over may oy operate the machine whout supervision if they have be instcted in how to use safely. Childr must be able to recognise and understand the pottial dangers arising om incorrect use. Peoe, including childr, who do t have the physical, ssory or mtal capabili to use the machine safely or are inexpericed or lack kwledge in how to use the machine safely must be supervised by a rponsible person wh using, or must be instcted in how to use correctly.
1 Preparing and using for the first time Setting up and connecting Wh setting up your Cool Control, ease te the following: Set the machine down on a horizontal surface that is t ssive to water. Choose a spot for your Cool Control which is protected against overheating. Ensure that the vtilation slots are t covered. In the interts of hygie, you should use a damp cloth to clean both the inside and outside of your new machine before starting. Rinse the stais steel container out thoroughly. J WARNING If the machine is operated wh a defective mains cable, there is a danger of pottially fatal electric shock. T Never use a machine which is damaged or has a defective mains cable. T Insert the cable for the power supy un into the Cool Control's socket. T Insert the mains ug into a power socket. T Insert the metal pipe into the adaer. 1 Preparing and using for the first time T Insert one side of the milk pipe into the adaer. Cooling milk Q T Fill the stais steel container wh milk. T Use the cover to close the stais steel container. T Place the stais steel container in the Cool Control. T Connect the milk pipe wh the cappucci other on your machine. Please te that the connecting piece may vary depding on the machine and the associated cappucci other. T Prs the On/Off button. The operating disay lights up and the machine starts cooling. Your JURA Cool Control always keeps your milk whin the oimum temperature range. The milk cant eeze. If you want to d the cooling procs, prs the On/Off button Q. If you want to shut down the machine, remove the mains ug om the power socket. T Insert the adaer into the cover. 13

This may damage the machine, the coating of the stais steel container holder and the stais steel container. T Before cleaning the machine, remove the mains ug om the power socket. T Clean the inside of the machine wh a damp cloth. T Clean the outside of the machine wh a damp cloth. T Rinse the stais steel container and individual parts thoroughly under nning water. Please te that oy the stais steel container and the metal pipe are dishwasher-safe all other parts (cover, adaer etc.) are t.
