WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS During the Warranty Period, Franke will either repair or replace defective components at no charge to the customer. Franke has the right to replace the defective Appliance with an Appliance of the same value if Franke determines that repairing the Appliance is not cost effective. Where the Appliance is situated outside the normal servicing area of the Franke authorised technical service network, the purchaser is responsible for payment of the service agent s travelling costs to the place of installation or repair. Franke is not liable for the cost of freight incurred as a result of the Appliance (or any part) being forwarded, collected or returned following repair. Such charges remain the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Except as set out above and to the extent Franke may not lawfully exclude liability, Franke will not be liable for any loss or damage (including consequential, exemplary, punitive or incidental loss or damage) however caused, including negligence, which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly from, or in connection with, the Appliance or any failure of or defect in the Appliance.
