Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit
IGH FX / IGH FX EC has been designed to provide energy saving by recovery through heat energy exchangers. IGH FX / IGH FX EC is used in order to increase the quality of interior air in environments such as office, café, dormitory and class. Exhausting the dirty and moist air and recovering the heat energy in interior environments in residences such as bathrooms and kitchen, where the temperature is higher, while providing fresh conditioned air with the help of the recovered heat to the environments such as bedroom or living room, where more oxygen is required. 1. Casing All of the casing has been produced of galvanized sheets of 1 mm, which has been electrostatic furnace painted with color code RAL 7035. 25 mm mineral wool insulation material is used for noise and heat isolation. An aluminium, rectangular duct connections are provided for duct connection. Easier electrical connection can be realized by junction box which present on the body as a standard. A main control panel will be used in applications with electrical heaters and speed setting switches instead of the junction box. 2. Fans IGH FX unit includes double suction radial fans are produced of galvanized sheets with direct drive motor. IGH FX EC unit includes single suction radial fans are produced of PA6 and PP material with EC motor. Each motor have been selected low sound level suitable for speed control. 3. Heat Exchangers Heat exchangers which have been made of aluminum, highly efficient and have a low pressure loss are used in the heat recovery units. 4. Drain Pan and Outlet All models have a condensation pan which is produced from electrostatic furnace painted sheet on galvanized sheet with a thickness of 1 mm as a standard. There is a 1/2 drainage connection at the pan outlets. There are double drain pans at the heat exchanger outlets on the exhaust and fresh air line, where the can be a condensation depending on the weather conditions in summer and winter. 2
5. Filters Easily accessible and cleanable G2 class synthetic fiber based filters are used. There are filters at both the fresh air and the exhaust air inlets. Thus, both the conditioned particles in the air are hold and plate type heat exchangers are protected. F5 class filters are also available as optionally. 6. Electrical Heater and Heater Control (Optional) Depending on the place of use and the need, the electrical heaters can be provided in order to be connected to the fresh air discharges of the Heat Recovery ventilation units with a different size and capacity for each model itself. The resistances have been certified with the CE sign and the resistances have been made of copper pipe. Therefore its resistant to corrosion is high. In addition, there is stage control card inside the heater panel. This card is operating by the main control unit which is present inside the pane mounted onto the device. The heater stages are operated according to the set temperature value and the fan speed. In addition, security control is carried out in 4 different ways. Thus, the necessary measures have been taken against a possible fire risk. The heaters are initiated, if needed, after the fans start during the starting of the device due to the main control unit. When turning off the device, firstly the heaters are disabled, then the heaters are cooled and then the fans are disabled. Thus, the procedure of stopping the device is realized. The exhaust and fresh air fans can optionally be used at different speeds. Heaters are produced as single stage, two stages or three stages depending on their capacities. Casing is produced by galvanized sheet. Electrical heaters are produced in rectangular intersections, suitable for the fresh air outlets of the heat recovery units and are suitable for the flange connection, suitable for the fresh air outlets of the heat recovery units and are suitable for the connection with the flange. 7. Speed Control Based on the changing needs, the speed regulator can be used to set the fan speed and provide some energy saving. 3
Standard Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit There is no electrical heater inside the standard device and no panel and control equipment to be used to use this heater. There is a standard speed switch mounted onto the device which enables the fans to be switched on and off and to be set at low, medium or high cycle. This switch is set to the required setting and thus an air flow as needed has been obtained. One of the basic properties of the device is to provide for the recovery of some of the energy when discharging the inside environment air, depending on interior and outside weather conditions. Thus, the incoming fresh air is conditioned. Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit Application With Electrical Heaters Safety precautions have to be taken in applications with heaters in order to control the resistances and to minimize the risk of fire. Control elements are used for this purpose.
