TBJ Model SPCS 30-48-1B Scope Pre-Cleaning Sink Product Specification Product Description The TBJ Model SPCS 30-48-1B work sink is specifically designed for use in GI Labs and Sterile Processing Departments for the pre-cleaning of flexible endoscopes. The unit includes a single sink bowl with our scope-consolidator system that includes built-in leak test inflation, precision detergent dosing, dual flushing ports, and cycle validation reports via a scanner/bar code reader/windows compatible software program. Additional features include automatic sink bowl filling to a pre-determined level so technicians are free to do other task while the sink fills with water and detergent. The work sink shall have the following configuration and features: The sink bowl shall be 28 x 16 x 10 ½ deep A deck mounted hot/cold faucet with wrist blade handles shall be located right side sink. The sink top shall be 36 above the finished floor. An OPTIONAL ergonomic, electrically operated hydraulic lift system allowing the sink height to be adjusted from 32 to 40 high via a rocker switch control can be added to the base unit. A wide variety of optional features are available to add to the base unit. See optional features listed below. Dimensions: The SPCS 30-48-1B is 30 Wide x 48 Long x 36 high sink top. The ergonomic height adjustment option allows the sink top to be adjustable between 32 and 40 High. The sink bowl is 28 Wide x 16 Long x 10 ½ deep and includes integral flushing ports and sink filling ports Sink Fixtures Hot/Cold water faucet Chrome plated, deck mounted hot/cold water faucet with wrist blade handles. Fixtures are pre-piped to threaded valves for ease of connection to building utilities on site. ELECTRICAL The sink unit is completely pre-wired to an integral breaker box with a 6-foot hospital grade plug. Installation and Assembly TBJ work sinks are shipped fully assembled, for quick and easy setup. Standard and optional fixtures are shipped installed and ready for use after installation of the sink. Fixtures are pre-piped ready for connection to inhouse utilities on site.

Quick Start Guide - Sequence Mode SCOPE CONSOLIDATOR WARNING: This is a quick step guide for using the Scope Consolidator as part of the scope processing procedure. This guide is only a summary of the steps necessary to operate the Scope Consolidator. Be sure to follow the detailed steps outlined in the Scope Consolidator Instruction Manual. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow the endoscope manufacturer s guidelines and the established industry protocols for cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes. 1 ENTER TECHNICIAN ID to select a Technician ID or use the barcode scanner to read Technician ID from barcode. 2 ENTER to confirm Technician ID. Fill the container or sink with clean water. >SCOPE INFLATION DETERGENT 055ml MANUAL CLEAN NO SINGLE FLUSH 30 B. Connect the inflation adapter to scope. to begin pressurizing the scope while the scope is out of the sink. Watch for expansion of rubber covering. Manipulate the control knobs in all directions. DID SCOPE PRESSURIZE AND MAINTAIN PRESSURE? If YES, go to step D for the Immersion Leak Test. If NO, follow endoscope manufacturer s instructions for further processing. Immersion Leak Test D. Immerse the scope under clean water and angulate the distal tip. Observe for a steady stream of bubbles. No Leak: If the endoscopy technician observes no bubbles from the scope and has determined there is no leak at the end of the water immersion test, press ENTER to deflate the scope. Go to step 4 - Detergent/Enzymatic Dosing. Technician Observes a Leak: If the technician observes bubbles from the scope and has determined there is a leak, press SCROLL to keep the scope inflated. Then follow the endoscope manufacturer s instructions or department protocol for further processing. 4 DETERGENT/ENZYMATIC DOSING AND MANUAL CLEANING A. Check water temperature on the ScopeTech display, and if needed, adjust SCOPE INFLATION >DETERGENT 055ml MANUAL CLEAN NO SINGLE FLUSH 60 water temperature. to dispense detergent/enzymatic into sink. Fill the container or sink with clean water to the appropriate level as recommended by the endoscope manufacturer or department protocol. B. Connect the inflation adapter to scope at venting connector. to select from menu. ON 055ml 015s to begin pressurizing the scope while the scope is out of the sink. Watch for expansion of rubber covering due to increased internal pressure. With the scope pressurized, manipulate the control knobs in all directions. E. Immerse the scope under clean water and angulate the distal tip. Observe for a steady stream of bubbles. No Leak: If the endoscopy technician observes no bubbles from the scope and has determined there is no leak at the end of the water immersion test, press ENTER to deflate the scope. Go to step 2 - Detergent/Enzymatic Dosing. Technician Observes a Leak: If the technician observes bubbles from the scope and has determined there is a leak, press SCROLL to keep the scope inflated. Then follow the endoscope manufacturer s instructions or department protocol for further processing. 2 DETERGENT/ENZYMATIC DOSING AND MANUAL CLEANING A. Check water temperature on the ScopeTech display, and if needed, adjust water temperature. to select from menu. to dispense detergent into sink. D. Manually clean channels and scope exterior with cleaning brush. Wipe exterior surfaces with detergent soaked cloth or sponge. 3 SCOPE FLUSH A. Attach flushing tubes and channel blockers to scope. B. Place flush suction hose in sink. to select flush from the menu. Press or Dual flush. For Dual Flush operation, make sure the Main and Auxiliary to begin flushing detergent through scope. Allow timer to count Note: When flushing the endoscope, please visually check all scope channel outputs to ensure they are free flowing and not blocked.
