DCNR, Bureau of Recreation and Conservation Priority Goal: To develop and sustain partnerships between communities, non-profits and other organizations for recreation and conservation projects and purposes to improve the quality of life in the Commonwealth.
The Bureau facilitates and nurtures the majority of these partnerships through a variety of grant and technical assistance programs concerned with community recreation, heritage regions, rivers conservation, greenways and trails, natural areas, and open space.

Education & Training Sessions The Bureau sponsors a dozen or more sessions yearly, for both professionals and the general public. These sessions are related to natural resource conservation, land and open space preservation, recreation and parks, and greenways and trails.
