Lakota East Women s Soccer Spring Fundraiser Player Info Selling Details Begin selling today! Bring Players Master Sheets and full payment to Mr. or Mrs. Kreider by Thursday April 18 th. Checks payable to Lakota East High School Players keep customer order forms for delivery. Delivery to Soccer Stadium at Hopewell on May 3, 2012 Pick up time TBD. Each player is responsible for pick up and delivery of their orders from soccer stadium. The quality of the flowers are excellent, they are from the Black Barn in Lebanon. Outstanding Features ~ Large flowers on compact plants. Soil ~ Fertile, sandy soil, rich in organic matter. Spacing ~ Plant 15" apart (38 cm). Tips ~ Poor frost tolerance. Requires frequent watering. No deadheading is required. Low maintenance annuals. Avoid hot, dry locations. Uses ~ Use in borders, beds or pots.

Tips ~ These plants have excellent weather resilience. Before you leave for holidays, cut back petunias to half height, water thoroughly and fertilize. Coleus Available in Flats only Flowering Period ~ Mid June to mid October. Height ~ Grows 10" to 15" tall (25-38 cm). How to Grow ~ Plant in part sun or shade. Outstanding Features ~ Brilliant foliage. Soil ~ Best in moist, well drained, rich loam. Spacing ~ Plant 10" apart (25 cm). Tips ~ Poor frost tolerance. Keep soil moist. Too much sun will fade foliage. To maintain bright foliage color, remove the tiny lilac flowers as they appear. Uses ~ Use in beds, borders and pots.

Dianthus Available in Flats only Flowering Period ~ Mid June to the end of October. Height ~ Grows 4" to 10" tall (10-25 cm). How to Grow ~ Plant in full sun. Outstanding Features ~ Early flowering, dwarf plants have bright flowers. Soil ~ Best in well drained soils. Spacing ~ Plant 10" apart (25 cm). Tips ~ Excellent frost tolerance. Do not allow plants to dry out. Dianthus is relatively disease and pest free. Uses ~ Use in beds and pots. Also good for edging, container gardens, rock gardens and cut flowers.

Marigold Available in Flats only Flowering Period ~ Mid June to the end of October. Height ~ Grows 10" to 12" tall (25-30 cm). How to Grow ~ Plant in full sun. Outstanding Features ~ Assorted flower colors on sturdy stems. Soil ~ Best in moist, well drained loam but tolerates dry soils. Marigolds grow well in poor soil. Spacing ~ Plant 12" apart (30 cm). Tips ~ Moderate frost tolerance. Low maintenance flowers. Performs well in all weather conditions. Pinching out the first central flower bud will produce bushier plants. Uses ~ Use in beds, pots or borders.

Snapdragon Available in Flats only Flowering Period ~ Mid June to the end of October. Height ~ Grows 6" to 36" tall (15-90 cm). Varies with variety. How to Grow ~ Plant in sun or part sun. Outstanding Features ~ Colorful favorite for garden, cutting. Soil ~ Best in rich, well drained, neutral to alkaline soil, high in organic matter. Spacing ~ Plant 6" to 18" apart (15-46 cm). Tips ~ This plant has excellent frost tolerance. Once planted, pinch out the central flowerstalk. Snapdragons will bush out faster and produce multiple spikes instead of only a single stalk per plant. Uses ~ Use in beds, border, backgrounds.

Outstanding Features ~ Compact bushy plants have showy flower colors. Tolerant of summer heat. Soil ~ Best in well drained soil. Spacing ~ Plant 10" to 15" apart (25-38 cm). Tips ~ Tolerant of hot and dry conditions. Uses ~ Use as ground cover or in containers.
