2 Burns Treatment Systems burns treatment solutions Treating patients suffering from severe burn injuries is a very demanding and costly process. In order to make the pre- and postoperative phases (acute, treatment and rehabilitation) as effective and comfortable as possible, ArjoHuntleigh has developed a number of specialised products to facilitate the treatment of burns patients in water, with all its attendant benefits. In water, wounds can be cleaned more efficiently and comfortably with less pain. Common to all ArjoHuntleigh burns treatment products is that they solve the difficult task of transferring and transporting a patient from the bed to the bath. The ArjoHuntleigh therapy baths enable you to take advantage of all the benefits of water immersion. Warm water is pain relieving and buoyancy aids the movement of limbs.

Burns Treatment Systems Acute Phase 3 ACUTE PHASE shower trolley and shower panel Concerto is particularly useful when treating patients in the acute phase. The shower trolley is mobile and can easily be taken into separate rooms in the isolation ward. It is also very convenient to use when treating children with burns. Concerto With Concerto you can pick up your patient at the bed and transfer him to the Shower Panel. You can use Concerto for both showering and bathing by filling the trolley with water. Concerto is height adjustable and has a soft and comfortable mattress. The mattress has specially designed channels for the water to run off easily and it can quickly be removed for cleaning. The Shower Panel is made of plastic and is connected to a sink of high quality stainless steel with rim flushing. It has a patient shower and an equipment cleaning shower as well as a thermostat that controls the water temperature exactly. Transfer from the bed to Concerto can be performed manually. ArjoHuntleigh also offer solutions for the transfer with mobile hoists or ceiling hoists. Placed on the Therapy Trolley in the tub, the patient can be immersed into the water where his bandages and wounds are soaked. The patient can be raised slightly on the stretcher to give easy access for wound cleaning. The height adjustment of Therapy Trolley is stepless so you can control exactly how deep into the water you want to immerse your patient. Burns Treatment Systems Treatment Phase 5 has an absolutely smooth surface and softly rounded corners. This makes it very easy to clean and reduces the risk of bacteria growth to a minimum. You can also add most kinds of substances to the water without damaging the tub, providing the tub is properly cleaned after each use. The panel of Papilio is equipped with dual patient showers and an equipment cleaning shower. Both the patient showers and filling of the tub are thermostatically controlled for complete safety. The transport and transfer of your patient is safely carried out with the height adjustable Therapy Trolley that integrates with Papilio. The Therapy Trolley is easily adjusted for transfer from left to right side of the tub. The soft, comfortable mattress is simple to remove for efficient cleaning. As an built-in option, both Papilio and Primo Ferro can be provided with Hydrosound which is the gentlest and most efficient way to clean sensitive skin. Hydrosound s gentle massaging action offers a new standard of cleanliness and minimises or eliminates scrubbing or manual cleaning.

A unique accessory for Miranti is an electronic patient scale, which allows you to record your patient s weight both accurately and without any extra, uncomfortable transfers as it is carried out at the same time as he is transferred to the bath.

The warm water is both pain relieving to a certain degree and makes the joints more mobile, and the buoyancy aids the patient when moving the limbs. Papilio Butterfly Papilio Butterfly has a specially designed shape that both allows the patient to move upper and lower extremities freely and the therapist to be close to their patient. Papilio Butterfly is of the same high quality stainless steel as the Papilio Rectangular and the same type of Therapy Trolley is used for transport and transfer of the patient into the tub.
