Deal s Landscape Service, Inc. 3454 Dayton-Xenia Road Beavercreek, Ohio 45432 (937) 426-2118 www.dealslandscape.com Landscape and Gardening Materials Catalog - March 12, 2016 Deal s catalogs are current as of the date of publication. Looking for Nursery stock? Download our Nursery Stock Catalog. We can deliver bulk materials (limited service area) - please call (937) 426-2118 to check availability and delivery fees. Topsoil & Mixes We carry top quality bulk processed top soil, topsoil/compost mix, rich garden soil mix and mushroom compost. Topsoil and mushroom compost are also available in bags. Mulch Deal s stocks bulk processed hardwood bark mulch and black magic (dyed) shredded mulch. Hardwood mulch is also available in bags. We also carry mushroom compost that can be used as a nutrient rich mulch. Mushroom Compost Mushroom growers remove spent manure based soil mixes after each mushroom crop is harvested. There are still plenty of left over benefits for gardens and landscape planting beds. Mushroom compost can add nutrients, help loosen heavy soils and increase water holding capacity of our native soils. For seeds and seedlings, use with caution, only after mixing. Composts are also used as 1/3 of the mix for raised beds gardens. Sold in bulk by the cubic yard or in bags from Posy Power. Grass Seed & Sod We carry Green Velvet custom grass seed mixes and sod. Green Velvet seed mixes and sod are top quality, disease resistant and especially chosen for Ohio s hot summers and cold winters. Seed is sold by the pound or in 50 pound bags. Sod is usually sold in 18 x 24 pieces. Gravels & Sand Deal s usually has 2 or 3 sizes of gravel on hand for convenient pick up. Chip and dust gravel is used when installing paver patios and walks, 1 washed gravel (#57) is handy for walkways or areas where you don t want to have bark mulch or grass. We also carry coarse builder s sand. Straw & Penn Mulch Deal s stocks large bales of wheat straw obtained from local farmers. We usually have a good supply of straw, but it may be best to give us a call at 937-426-2118 before pick up. If you are considering the use of straw for sowing grass seed, we carry an alternative called Penn Mulch. It is a compress shredded paper product that also provides a bit of starter fertilizer. The compressed pellets are thinly spread. When watered, the pellets will expand to cover the grass seed. Penn Mulch is available in 50 lb. bags or by the pound.

Organic Fertilizers and Soil amendments Cow Manure Deal s carries dehydrated cow manure. Dehydrated manure is more nutrient concentrated than composted manure and weighs much less. Typically less dehydrated manure is needed for optimal results. 40 lb. bag. Greensand Jersey Greensand is no longer available. Gypsum We carry pelletized Gypsum which is a mined, natural calcium sulfate. It supplies 21% calcium and 16% sulfur. It is a great addition for our heavy alkaline clay soils.
