Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes. The May 21, 2012 meeting minutes were approved as written and distributed. 4. Chair s Report. The Chair welcomed everyone ask thanked everyone in advance for helping him as the new Chair. 5. The New Process Review. Staff gave a Powerpoint presentation on the new process from the second draft comment stage through the end of the cycle. 6. NFPA 5000 Second Draft (formerly ROC) Preparation. The committee reviewed and resolved 3 public comments and 2 Correlating Committee Comments. The committee created seven (2) second revisions. 7. New Business. a. The committee created a Task group on Site impracticality The Chair requested volunteers from the TC and that members suggest other appropriate outside individuals whose charge is to review appropriate scoping code text for 1 & 2 dwellings for Type C units and to complete their work in time to submit them as public comments prior to the Public Input closing date for the next cycle. Suggested names are to be submitted to Staff Liaison Allan Fraser who will work with the chair to make appointments and coordinate their work. b. Shane Clary volunteered to represent the TC on the CC created task group that will look at which committees should own and maintain each of the definitions in 5000 and 101. c. Robert Solomon informed the TC that NFPA and the FPRF are in the initial stages of planning a Home Healthcare Forum to be held in 2014. He said that they would like members to be involved in the planning as well as potentially be speakers. One of the topics will be aging in place which relates to scope. 8.
