Carpet material furnished by owner, installed by Trade Contractor. 14. All new fire alarm work associated with AHU-1 shall remain in project. Scope To: CMTA Engineering Date: June 14, 2017 Job Name: University of Louisville Student Activities Center Phase 4 We propose to modify and add to the existing Schneider Electric TAC I/A Series Building Automation system at the U of L Student Activities Center. We will provide a control system in accordance with the plans and specifications section 250400, as detailed below, and as designed by CMTA Engineering. We acknowledge 1 addendum. Base Control Price $ 592,700.00 Alternate Deduct A-1 West Restroom Finish Upgrades ($ 13,120.00) Alternate Deduct A-2 Boilers & HW System in existing NW Penthouse ($ 33,410.00) Unit Price for VAV Box $ 1,310.00 Breakout Pricing for N4 Upgrade for East Side AHU s and HW/CW System $ 13,430.00 Breakout Pricing for AHU-19 including 8 VFDs $ 34,670.00 Breakout Pricing for AHU-20 including 8 VFDs $ 33,130.00 We include the following: 1. Schneider Electric - Tridium Niagara Based N4 Building Controller, interfaced with the existing U of L Campus N4 Server. 2. The complete N4 Server Graphic User Interface conversion of all remaining East Side existing BAS Control Systems serving AHUs 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, East HW Control System, and CW Control System. 3. A New Graphical User Interface for this building. 4. Upgrade of existing BAS Software to the latest security patches and version. 5. Labor and wiring for installation of controls provided by CSUSA for Building Automation System. 6. CSUSA will adhere to and follow the directions dictated to us in the U of L Facilities Automation & Control Systems, Owner Project Requirement Guidelines. 7. Submittal data creation, programming, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of system, including 8 hours of opposite season testing. 8. Commissioning with Third Party Commissioning Agent. 9. BAS Lighting Controls provided for Interior and Exterior lighting as detailed on sheets E4.1, E4.2, E4.3, E4.4, E4.5, E4.6, E4.7, E4.8, E4.9, and E9.0, Power wiring by Electrical Contractor, Low Voltage Wiring by CSUSA. Including Factory Startup and Commissioning. Stand-Alone Lighting Controls not included, provided by Electrical Contractor. BAS Connected Lighting Controls will be Wattstopper. 10. All control wiring above a drop ceiling will be open wire in rings or wireway. All exposed or concealed wiring will be in conduit. 11. One year warranty. 12. Demo of existing controls. All existing controls not reused will be removed. Patching pneumatics as demo d to ensure stability of existing pneumatic control system that remain serving other areas. 13. 24 Hours of On Site Engineer assistance for programming changes. 14. 56 Hours of On Site Hands On Training.

One (1) Hot Water System, including 2 Boilers, 1 Boiler Control System Common Hot Water Supply Temperature Sensor, Boiler Control System Communication wiring between the two boilers, BACnet Integration to the new Boilers, 2 Boiler Pumps, 2 Boiler Temperature Supply Sensors, 3 Emergency Boiler Shutoff Switches for 2 Boilers, Disabling the Gas Trains when pressed. Two (2) Variable Air Volume Air Handling Units (AHU-19 & 20) including Supply and Return Fans VFDs and Speed, Static, and Minimum OA CFM Control, Economizer Damper Actuators and positive proof OA and EA damper close statuses, CO2 Control of Minimum OA, Differential Pressure Sensors for Factory Furnished Piezo Air Flow Measuring Stations for Supply and Return Fans, Supply and Return DP Fan Status Switches, Pre and Final Filter Diff. Eighteen (18) ABB VFD s w/ NEMA 12 Enclosures, provided and installed by CSUSA as per specs, including factory startup and 2-year warranty. VFD s are provided for the following equipment. o (2) Hot Water Pumps 1A, & 1B o (4) AHU-19 Supply Fans o (4) AHU-19 Return Fans o (4) AHU-20 Supply Fans o (4) AHU-20 Return Fans One Hundred Four (104) VAV Boxes (VAV-XX) with Hot Water Reheat 2 or 3 Way Control Valves as required, Discharge Air Temperature, Space Temperature Sensor with Space Setpoint Adjustment, Interlock to 19 Electrician Provided Occupancy Sensors, 17 VAV box Controllers with CO2 and Humidity Sensors. Eight (8) Cooling Only VAV Boxes (VAV-XX) Discharge Air Temperature, Space Temperature Sensor with Space Setpoint Adjustment. Two (2) Fan Powered VAV Boxes (FVAV-XX) with Hot Water Reheat 2 or 3 Way Control Valves as required, Discharge Air Temperature, Return Air Temperature Sensor. Two (2) Cabinet Unit Heaters (CH-1) including Fan Control and Status, Hot Water Valve, Discharge Air Sensor, and Space Temperature Sensor. One (1) Onicon Natural Gas Flow Meter, provide, monitor, and report readings. One (1) BAS interfaced Lighting Control System interface as stated above. 51 Interior Room Controllers, 49 MS/TP Interfaces, 138 Occupancy Sensors, and 20 Photocells. Factory Startup and Configuration. One (1) Fan Coil Unit including Supply Fan Control and Diff. Pressure Fan Status, Chilled Water 3 Way Valve Spring Return, Hot Water 3 Way Valve Spring Return, Supply Air Temperature, Space Temperature w/ Setpoint Control. Two (2) Domestic Hot Water Heaters (WH-1, & WH-2) each with a DHW Loop Supply Temp Sensor (total of 2), 1 DHW Recirculation Temp Sensor, 2 Common DHW Header Supply Temp Sensor, and 3 Domestic Water Recirculation Pumps. Ten (10) Exhaust Fans (EF-1, EF-2, & EF-4) with Factory Furnished Integral Exhaust Dampers and Actuators, Start/Stop and Status of the Exhaust Fans. Two (2) Exhaust Fans (EF-5, EF-6) interlocked with dishwashers. Status of Exhaust Fan. Five (5) Existing Air Handling Units (AHU-3, 5, 6, 7, & 9), Recommissioning of all existing controls including New Chilled Water Valve, New Discharge Air Sensor, and New Chilled Water Coil Leaving Water Temperature Sensor. New Sequence of operation for Chilled Water Coil. New

Mixed Air Temperature Sensor and New Freezestats, Reuse Existing Control Panel, Controller, HW Valves, Dampers, and Existing Actuators for HW Valve and Dampers. One (1) Existing Smoke Evacuation Sequence serving the West Building, involving AHUs 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, and W13, W14, and Associated Smoke Dampers. Preconstruction Testing, and implementation on AHUs being modified. Eight (8) Hot Water Fin Tube 3 Way Control Valves will be interlocked to operate in conjunction with the local VAV box serving the same space. Seven (7) Ruskin CD-60 OA, Return, and Relief Control Dampers, including 1-5 Zone Multizone Damper and Belimo Actuators for AHU-2E, and AHU-4E. All New Dampers, Factory Furnished with equipment or furnished by CSUSA will be provided with Belimo Actuators by CSUSA. Three (3) Air Curtains (VAC-1), interlocked to Door Position Switch, no BAS interface. Two (2) Temperature Sensors for Freezer / Cooler Temperature Monitoring, on M3.7. Modifications to existing control sequences and panels as detailed on demo pages. We do not include the following: 1. Cutting, Patching or Painting of any nature. 2. Installation of Control Valves, Water Flow Meters, Steam Flow Meters, Water Differential Pressure Sensors, and Temperature Sensor Wells by Mechanical Contractor. 3. Installation of Control Dampers by Sheet Metal Contractor. 4. Installation of Natural Gas Flow Meter by Plumbing Contractor. 5. Vacancy Sensors, and Lighting Controls not a part of the BAS Lighting Control System, but part of the Stand Alone Lighting Controls Detail on E9.0, EC Provided and Installed, are by the Electrical Contractor. 6. Power Wiring to and from VFD s provided by Electrical Contractor. 7. Power Wiring to Shown BAS Control Panels Detailed in the Electrical Drawing is provided by the Electrical Contractor. 8. Smoke Detectors provided and installed by others. 9. Smoke and Fire Dampers provided by others. 10. Humidity Sensors for VAV are provided only when an H is depicted on the Mechanical Drawings or sheets M8.1- M8.3. 11. Automatic Flow Balancing Valves are by the Mechanical Contractor. 12. Discharge Air Dial Thermometer detailed as Note 8 in VAV box detail, on Sheet M7.3, is not included. 13. VAV boxes are provided by the Mechanical Contractor. 14. VAV box controllers are provided by CSUSA to the box manufacturer for factory installation. 15. Controls provided with the Mechanical Equipment and Interfaced to the BAS, are the responsibility of the supplier for meeting interface sequences. Adherence to the specifications is the responsibility of the equipment manufacturer and the provider. The BAS contractor is limited by what is provided and approved by the Mechanical Engineer. 16. Any items not specifically stated above are not included. 17. Control Dampers and Control Valves not listed for replacement by Mechanical Contractor are not included.
