Fabricate partitions by applying single sheet plastic laminate finish to faces and edges of core material using adhesive and pressure bonding. B. Seal edges of cut-outs. Bevel corners and edges. C. Reinforce pilaster and panels with steel plate reinforcement sandwiched, within particle core at attachment points. Router cut openings as required. D. Doors and Panels: 1. Thickness: 1 inch 2. Tubing: ASTM A269, stainless steel. B. Fasteners, Screws, and Bolts: Stainless steel, tamper-proof, where exposed. 2.03 FABRICATION A. Weld and grind joints of fabricated components, smooth. B. Fabricate grab bars of tubing, free of visible joints, return to wall with end attachment flanges. Form bar with 1 1/2 inches (37 mm) clear of wall surface. Knurl grip surfaces. C. Shop assemble components and package complete with anchors and fittings. D. Provide steel anchor plates, adapters, and anchor components for installation. 2.04 FINISHES A. Shop Primed Ferrous Metals: Pre-treat and clean, spray apply one coat primer and bake. B. Enamel: Pre-treat to clean condition, apply one coat primer and minimum two coats epoxy baked enamel. C. Configuration: Semi-recessed type, exterior nominal dimensions of 9.5 inch wide x 24 inch high x 6 inch deep. C. Trim Type: Rolled edge with 2.5 inch wide face. Cabinet must comply with ADA maximum projection requirements. D. Door: 18 gage thick, reinforced for flatness and rigidity; latch with full glass access. E. Door Glazing: Wire glass, clear, 118 inch thick. F. Cabinet Mounting Hardware: Appropriate to cabinet. 2.04 ACCESSORIES Extinguisher Brackets: Formed steel, baked enamel finish. 2.05 FABRICATION A. B. Pre-drill for anchors. C. Hinge doors for 180 degree opening with continuous piano hinge. Provide roller type catch. D. Weld, fill, and grind components smooth. 2.06 FINISHES Cabinet and Door: Anodized to clear color. PART 3 - EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION Verify rough openings for cabinet are correctly sized and located. 3.02 INSTALLATION A. Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. B. Install cabinets plumb and level in wall openings, height from finished floor to as indicated on plans. C. Secure rigidly in place. D. Coordinate with owner provided extinguishers and place extinguishers and accessories in cabinets or on wall brackets as indicated on plans.
