It is recommended that this Solid Surface top is protected during installation. Your vanity should be cleaned with a mild, non acidic, non abrasive detergent and soft cloth. Finish by cleaning off detergents with a soft damp cloth and towel dry. Always clean spills and water as they occur. The Solid Surface top should be cleaned using a soft damp cloth with warm water OR a non abrasive ammonia based household cleaner OR a dedicated counter top cleaner. The possibility of concentrated acidic ingredients present in some beauty and cleaning products may damage the surface if left for a long duration. Citrus or silicone based sprays or polishes should not be used. It is recommended that all spills are cleaned up as they occur. Abrasive cleaners should NOT be used on this semi gloss surface. Damage caused by any improper treatment is not covered by the product warranty. page 4 of 6 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Vanity should be installed by a qualified, licensed trades person. Vanity Fitting Instructions Prior to installation it is important to inspect the vanity to ensure no damage has occurred in transit. If damage has occurred, or a visible defect exists, do not proceed with installation and advise supplier immediately. No warranty claim for damage will be accepted if the vanity is installed. It is recommended that the Solid Surface Top is protected during installation. Please Note: Manufacturer will not be liable for the cost of installation or removal of the vanity and the warranty will be voided if damage occurred during or after installation. Remove drawers (refer to Drawer Installation and Adjustment Instructions) Mark base and back of the vanity for drilling to allow for plumbing pipes. Drill holes for pipes with appropriate size hole saws. Position vanity over pipes in correct position. It is recommended that the vanity sit on a length of aluminium angle securely fastened to the wall Check with spirit level that the vanity is completely level. Screw vanity to the wall through back of the vanity, ENSURING SCREWS ARE FIXED TO STUDS. Allow enough fixing points at the top and bottom of the back panel to sufficiently secure the unit to the wall. All edges where vanity top and cabinet meet wall and floor are to be properly sealed with bathroom grade silicone to prevent water penetration. Materials used in construction are water-resistant not waterproof. Care must be taken to dry any spillage or leakage of water which may gain access to the cabinet when fitting. Replace drawers (refer to Drawer Installation and Adjustment Instructions). Recommendation for Plumbing Waste should not be over tightened to avoid stress on basin and top. Plumbing and electrical setout instructions 1. Diagrams below show wall positions of 40mm waste pipe, hot and cold outlets (if required) and power cord outlet (if required). Please note diagrams show set outs for 750, 1200 and 0 left hand basin, for right hand basin use mirror opposite. 2. Use 40mm plug and waste, non overflow with 40mm Short Inlet P Trap (both not supplied) 3. For power cord positioning of custom sizes, contact manufacturer. 4. Plumbing set outs for customised sizes: 751-0 same as for 750 set out 1000-1 same as for 1200 set out 1400-1499 same as for 0 set out 5. For plumbing and electrical set outs of customised 1751-2000mm double basin contact manufacturer. 6. Sensor Powered Drawers A 1.6 mtr power cord extension is fitted to the vanity and extends out the back of the unit at the position shown in the diagram below. This power cord should be connected by a qualified electrician to a 240 volt power supply with an isolating switch. Please Note: Any electrical fault caused by water penetration inside the vanity is not covered by the product warranty 7. If using a basin mixer, hot and cold hoses should be bracketed to the side or back of the vanity so as not to impede operation of the drawer. page 6 of 6 drawer installation and adjustment DRAWER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS The Nova Pro Drawers can be installed or removed with just one movement. To install drawer 1. Fully extend runners 2. Place drawer on runners 3. Close drawer firmly until a double click is heard Ensure drawer is engaged to BOTH runners. See Refitting Drawers To remove drawer 4. Fully extend drawer 5. Hold drawer sides as above and firmly lift off runners TOOL-FREE SIDE ADJUSTMENT 1. Press the catch hooks 2 (left and right) to the back 2. Lift the front up lightly and slide over ribs. Adjustment range ± 1.5mm. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT 1. Lightly loosen the screw 3 and adjust the front with the eccentric screw 4 into the desired height position 2. Tighten screw 3 Adjustment range ± 2mm. 3 4 TILT ADJUSTMENT OF FRONT Readily accessible tilt adjustment facility on the inside of the drawer side. The tilt adjustment is achieved by adjusting this screw located at the rear of the drawer. Note: Only available on 122mm drawer sides REFITTING DRAWERS It is important that the drawers are refitted correctly if removed for installation. If the drawer is not locked into the runner system at all four corners the drawer will not function correctly. Please follow the Install Instructions for fitting the drawer then check the drawer is correctly locked onto the runner by carrying out the following checks. 1. Fully extend the drawer. Use gentle upward pressure to determine if each back corner is locked onto the runner. If a corner has not locked on, remove the drawer and reinstall using the Drawer Install Instructions guide. 2. Fully extend the drawer. Apply gentle upward pressure to the front 2 corners to test both corners are locked onto the runners. Finally give a gentle pull forward on both sides. If the drawer is correctly locked onto the runners the drawer should not be able to pull forward past its full extension. If any corner is not locked onto the runner remove the drawer and reinstall using the Drawer Install Instructions provided. 2 2
