Welcome to HotHouse: The Nature of Leadership A learning experience unlike any other in the leadership development world. In the largest hothouse on the planet, we use principles from nature to provide a new frame of reference for the business world. On an unforgettable journey that unleashes new possibilities, you ll also meet other leaders from diverse sectors, leaving you ready to tackle the challenges of the future. Transformation: it s in our nature.

Transform the way you think, react and lead Understanding what the companies of the future could look like, and the kind of leadership needed in the coming decades, will demand the best from all of us. We are living and working through unprecedented times, leading into a bright, but uncharted future. This future is being built on collaboration, adaptation, diversity, and the endless possibilities that emerge when ideas and disciplines are allowed to collide with each other. To lead this adventure we are going back to our roots and taking lessons from the natural world. To explore a business as an ecosystem is not just poetic metaphor; understanding this provides us with a set of tangible tools, that we can employ to help us lead and do business better. Just like natural systems, businesses are born, grow, reproduce, adapt, are disrupted, and evolve. With this as our frame of reference we delve into how nature organises itself, how it regenerates and functions in partnership, how diversity builds resilience, and why this is so vital to business today. We work with you to synthesise these ideas into your world and business to allow you to unleash new ideas, creativity, and possibilities.

Why Eden? The Eden Project was born against all odds in one of the most degraded landscapes imaginable. At the heart of this transformation was learning from nature; allowing us to explore what could happen when a bunch of dreamers, optimists and pragmatists worked with the grain of nature and didn t fight against it. Creating Eden demonstrated the art of the possible. In doing so, Eden devised new ways of working and fostered a spirit of opportunism and optimism that changed the way we approach the challenges of the 21st century. We know from experience that our site is an inspirational environment in which to learn. You ll be immersed in a uniquely beautiful place, from which you can draw both physical and psychological inspiration. Being at Eden can shift your perception of your business, yourself, the world and ultimately, your place within it. Hufton+Crow

Shifting perceptions The place, the stories and the people invite you to shift your perception and engage in problemsolving, debate and reflection. Explore your story We create the conditions and provide the stimulus to understand the kind of leader you want to be, and how to tell your own story to others. Grounded in Creativity, imagination, adventure, and reality.

The Nature of Leadership Our flagship programme is for emerging leaders, who may recognise their inner talent, or have had it recognised by others. Diversity is key, bringing a mix of people together whose paths don t normally cross, from large corporates, challenger brands, social enterprises, charities and the public sector.
