SAFETY INFORMATION IMPORTANT: Please read, understand, and comply with all of the instructions provided in this manual before using the device. Failure to comply with the instructions given in this manual and/or using the device in ways other than the ones mentioned in this manual may result in serious injury and/or damage to the product. General Safety Only use this humidifier as described in this manual. Ensure that the plug fits properly into a polarized power socket. When not in use, turn the machine off and disconnect from a power source by removing the plug from the outlet. DO NOT attempt to open the base or attempt to remove the water level sensor for self-servicing. Doing so will void your warranty and may increase the risk of damage to the product, electric shock, or injury. DO NOT handle the power cord or plug with wet hands. Keep the plug and power cord away from liquids. DO NOT use this product in wet environments. Keep the humidifier out of reach from children. Keep the humidifier at least 40 inches away from the wall. Use & Care Always make sure to place the humidifier on a flat, level surface before operation. Position the humidifier so that there is a 10-inch clearance from walls. Direct the nozzle so that the produced mist is at least 40 inches from walls. DO NOT place the humidifier near sources of heat, such as stove tops, ovens, radiators, or computers. DO NOT place the humidifier near any large pieces of furniture or in any high-traffic area where it can be easily knocked over. DO NOT place the the humidifier directly on floors, carpets, or rugs. Fill the water tank with at least two cups of water. DO NOT fill the water tank through the nozzle or mist tube. Doing so may damage the humidifier. Only fill the water tank with distilled, 5
filtered, purified, or tap water. Never fill the water tank with any other liquids. DO NOT add essential oils, supplemental water treatment liquids, or additional water filters into the water tank. DO NOT place foreign objects into the unit s base or water tank. Do not use other items as replacement parts for this product. DO NOT use your hand or any other object to cover the nozzle while the unit is on. Doing so may damage the product. If the relative humidity in your room exceeds 68% while operating the humidifier, it is recommended to use the low mist setting or turn off the device. Make sure your room is well-ventilated; this will better help humidify your room. Remove the water tank from the base before moving the humidifier. DO NOT clean the unit while it is connected to a power source or while it is on. DO NOT immerse the humidifier base, power cord, or plug while cleaning the unit. DO NOT use cleaning detergents to clean the humidifier; only clean the humidifier as instructed in this manual (page 16). If the unit is damaged or is not functioning properly, discontinue use and contact Customer Support immediately (page 21). IMPORTANT DO NOT shake the humidifier. DO NOT place humidifier on an inclined surface. DO NOT place humidifier directly against walls. Always make sure there is a 10-inch clearance from walls. 6

GETTING STARTED 1. Remove the top cover from the water tank and set it aside. Carefully lift the built-in handle to remove the water tank from the base. 2. Flip the tank over and twist the water tank cap counterclockwise to remove it. [Figure 1.1] 3. Fill up the water tank with cold or room temperature water; it is recommended to use distilled water for best results [Figure 1.2]. You can gauge how much water is in the water tank by looking through the water tank window [Figure 1.3]; the maximum capacity of the water tank is 1.1 gallons (4.5 L). Figure 1.1 Figure 1.2 Figure 1.3 8 NOTE: For best results, fill the water tank with distilled water. DO NOT fill the tank with hot water. DO NOT add water through the nozzle or mist tube.
4. Once you have filled the tank to the desired level, replace the cap and turn it clockwise to secure it tightly to the water tank. [Figure 1.4] 5. Carefully place the water tank back onto the base, making sure the water tank cap is aligned with its respective port inside the inner chamber. [Figure 1.5] Figure 1.4 Figure 1.5 9
OPERATION General Operation 1. Place the humidifier on a flat, elevated surface. (Tables and nightstands work best!) 2. Plug the unit into an electrical outlet. 3. Tap the power button once to turn on the humidifier; it will start operating on low mist as the default setting. Once the humidifier is on, you can also change the mist level by tapping the power button again (See chart on page 11). 4. When the water level is low the power button will light up red, and the humidifier will stop producing mist. 5. Unplug the humidifier and refill the water tank as mentioned in the Getting Started section (page 8). Figure 2.1 10 NOTE: Remember to position the humidifier at least 10 inches away from walls, and direct the nozzle so that the produced mist is at least 40 inches away from walls. The nozzle can rotate 360 to diffuse mist in any direction. [Figure 2.2] If you encounter any issues while operating the humidifier, please see the Troubleshooting section on page 18. USING THE AROMA BOX Your new humidifier can also be used as an aroma diffuser to provide added comfort in your home. 1. Turn off and unplug the humidifier from its power source. 2. Locate the aroma box at the back of the base. [Figure 3.1] 3. Gently push the aroma box into the base, and it will automatically spring out. 4. Add 2-3 drops of essential oil on the aroma pad. Replace the aroma box. [Figure 3.4] 5. Fill the water tank with water and place it back on the base as mentioned in the Getting Started section (page 8). [Figure 3.5] 6. Plug in and turn on the humidifier. Figure 3.4 Figure 3.5 NOTE: You can also add medicated vaporizing steam liquid to the aroma pad. The aroma pad can be cleaned and reused after diffusing essential oils (see page 17). 13
PREVENTING WATER LEAKS When not sealed properly, the water tank on your new humidifier may leak. The following tips will ensure that your humidifier will operate smoothly. 1. Make sure the silicone ring around the water tank cap is secured at all times. [Figure 4.1] Inside of water tank cap 3. When moving the humidifier, remove the tank from the base and empty any excess water inside the inner chamber before moving the base. [Figures 4.3 & 4.4] Figure 4.1 2. KEEPING THINGS CLEAN General Cleaning CAUTION: Make sure the humidifier is completely unplugged from any power source when cleaning. 1. Unplug the humidifier. 2. Remove the top cover from the water tank. Rinse the nozzle under clean running water, then set it aside to air dry. DO NOT attempt to remove the nozzle from the cover. 3. Remove the water tank from the base and pour out any excess water. Fill the tank with 2 cups of distilled white vinegar and 2 cups of water; replace the cap and gently shake to coat all sides of the water tank. 4. Fill the inner chamber with 1 cup of distilled vinegar. [Figure 5.1] 5. Allow the vinegar to soak inside both the water tank and inner chamber for 30 minutes. 6. Use the included cleaning brush to remove any scale buildup inside the inner chamber. [Figure 5.2] 7. Pour out the vinegar from both parts of the humidifier and thoroughly rinse with warm water. 8. Dry all parts with a dry, clean cloth. Make sure all parts of the humidifier are completely dry before reassembling and storing in a covered space. Cleaning the Aroma Pad Disinfecting the Humidifier 1. Press the aroma box to release it from the base, then pull it out. 2. Remove the aroma pad from the aroma box. 3. Rinse the pad under warm running water. 4. Dry with a clean cloth and place it back into the aroma box. NOTE: It is recommended to change the aroma pad every 6 months. DO NOT pour liquid cleaners or detergents into the aroma box. DO NOT use liquid cleaners or detergents to wash the aroma pad. It is recommended to disinfect the water tank before or after storing the humidifier for long periods of time. This method should also be used if there is any mold buildup inside the water tank. 1. Clean the water tank as instructed in the General Cleaning section (page 16). 2. Fill the water tank with 1 teaspoon of bleach along with one gallon of water. 3. Place ¼ teaspoon of bleach along with 1 cup of water into the base. 4. Allow the solutions in both parts to sit for 30 minutes. 5. Pour out the mixtures from both the water tank and base and rinse both parts thoroughly under clean, running water. 6. Allow the water tank and base to completely air dry before reassembling the humidifier. NOTE: Always wear gloves to protect your hands while using bleach. A 3-percent hydrogen peroxide solution may also be used to disinfect the humidifier. DO NOT use the humidifier immediately after disinfecting; doing so may pose a potential health hazard. 17
TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Cause Solution No mist coming out of nozzle. Humidifier produces an unusual smell. Humidifier makes a loud or unusual noise. Mist is coming out from base. Unit is not plugged in. Unit is not turned on. No water in tank. Water level is low. Unit is new. Residual smell from diffusing essential oil on the aroma pad. Plug the humidifier into a powered electrical outlet. Tap the power button to turn on the unit. Add at least two cups of clean water into the water tank. Rinse the water tank and allow the humidifier to air dry. Clean the water tank as instructed on the Keeping Things Clean section on page 16. Align the water tank cap with its respective port inside the inner chamber. Add at least two cups of clean water into the water tank. Place unit on a flat, level surface. Turn off and unplug the unit; discontinue use. Contact Customer Support (page 21). Turn off/unplug the unit, then align the water tank cap with its respective port inside the inner chamber. 18
Problem Cause Solution White dust appears around the humidifier after operation. Puddle of water forms below the base. Power button shines solid red. Power button does not work. Power button flashes blue briefly, then the unit turns off. Water being used has a high mineral content. Mist setting is too high. Room is not well-ventilated. Excess water that has spilled from filling the water tank or replacing the water tank back onto the base. Humidifier base is leaking. Water level is low. No water in the tank. Water level sensor is malfunctioning. Use distilled water with the humidifier. If distilled water is not available, use purified or filtered water. Remember to clean your water tank at least once a month. Switch the humidifier to a lower mist setting. Open a window to ensure proper airflow for your humidifier, or move the humidifier to a more well-ventilated room. Wipe off excess water from the top and bottom of the base before replacing the water tank. Unplug the humidifier immediately and discontinue use. See the Preventing Water Leaks section on page 14 before resuming use. If your unit continues to leak, contact Customer Support (page 21). Add at least two cups of clean water into the water tank.
