Thus retaining integrity on the database and control of all systems connected to the network on Ethernet or serial interfaces. The Genesys Security Control Room Management System (CRMS) has been developed using advanced software technology that offers very extensive management tools, which is extremely operator friendly using intuitive graphics and text acknowledgements along with real time active icons. These facilities enable the user to be visually aware of all the activity of events and actions as and when they happen. The graphic plans are of 2D quality which enables the operator to become very familiar with the building(s) that are being monitored and/or controlled. As the Genesys software is so intuitive training the operators on the use of the system takes no more than 2 hrs. As the Genesys software operates as standalone, on LAN or WAN networks to remote and local sites with workstations that can be transferred to any operating station on the network. This offers the client tremendous flexibility when closing down sites or buildings off peak or out of normal working hours. Genesys has been designed in a modular format for ease of operation specifically when clients are using multiple disciplines/integration. This enables Management to allocate individual operators with all or individual modules. The modules represent the system type such as Fire and Intruder alarms, Access Control, Audio Intercoms, Digital Recording Systems, Cell Call, Concierge etc. Each Module includes a graphical control panel which replicates the function on the hardware. Also each module will display the relevant Icons on the maps for the individual system (which can include associated modules icons via filters with in the configuration menus) this philosophy alleviates cluttered graphics and confusion for the operators. Genesys unlike the majority of systems from our competitors has been designed with a complex engine, with sophisticated management tools and multiple data bases for use with Cell Call, concierge and Access Control. The log file records all events which are available to managers for audit trails and generating reports. The Genesys modules offer full functionality (subject to Manufacturers Protocols) unlike the majority of our competitors most of which offer simple mimic and very little if any control functionality.
