Description Webb Hill Farm is a substantial and particularly handsome traditional farmhouse, set in a wonderful location surrounded by its own land. Situated in an outstanding position with wonderful views over the Brendon Hills, Halse and towards the Quantock Hills, the house is located at the end of its own private driveway. The farmhouse has an attractive façade with painted rendered elevations under a pitched slate roof. Accommodation The accommodation includes a covered entrance porch with a turning staircase to the first floor. There is a drawing room with an open fireplace, cornicing and a large front aspect window overlooking the front garden. The separate dining room also has an open fireplace with a slate surround, dado rail and cornicing to the ceiling. The kitchen/breakfast room is of a good size and has a dual aspect and double doors leading out onto the front garden. There is a range of fitted matching wall and base units, an island unit and a deep inglenook fireplace with inset Rayburn. A secondary staircase leads to the first floor and steps from the kitchen lead down to an inner lobby with a door to the utility and laundry rooms. At the back of the house there is a further study with a hardwood block floor, a family room, again with hardwood flooring, a rear porch and a cloakroom. From the rear hall there is a further sitting room with vaulted ceiling, exposed A- frames and double doors leading into the conservatory, which has views west over the garden and land. On the first floor, there are seven bedrooms in total, two with en-suite shower rooms and all enjoying wonderful views over the gardens and farmland. There are two separate bathrooms.
Gardens and Grounds Externally the house is approached over an extensive private driveway, which leads to double gates enclosing the house and land from the private road. A tarmacadam driveway leads down through the paddocks to the house where there is extensive gravelled parking. Within the garden is a traditional two storey stone fronted barn with attached wagon barn. These could provide further accommodation subject to the necessary planning consents. There is a modern storage barn/workshop with a concrete floor and vehicle ramp. These buildings have their own water and electricity supply. On the opposite side of the courtyard of barns is a further modern barn, which has been converted to provide a shower, gymnasium, snooker room and additional garaging. There is also an open fronted car port, which provides ample space for a number of vehicles. The gardens that surround the property are predominantly laid to lawn with deep planted herbaceous borders and there are deep paved patio areas, all enclosed by low conifer hedging.
