To set up your RFP / Bunnings PowerPass Card, it is generally a 6-step process which takes approximately 15 days to come to fruition. You cannot walk into a Bunnings store and ask for this over the counter. In order to obtain your Renovating For Profit national trade group discounts at Bunnings, you will need an Australian Business Number (ABN). How your PowerPass account works Once you have applied for a Bunnings PowerPass card, they will send a card to you. It is vital that you complete item 4 on page 7 in the following list of instructions, as this is where your Bunnings PowerPass account is linked to your CRFP student account. Don t just take your card to Bunnings and start using the card as you may be missing out on some great discounts! Discounts on Bunnings products When you go to a Bunnings store and select your goods and hit the checkout, there may not always be a discount, as it will depend on the products included in the PowerPass discount at the time it is not a flat percentage applied to your whole purchase. Usually discounts are introduced at Bunnings when competitors release discounts and can range anywhere from 1% to 15%. Students have reported even greater discounts than this! What you will get is: Up to 15% off the Kaboodle range 1% - 15% off a huge range of Bunnings products So make sure once you receive your PowerPass card from Bunnings, you get in touch with your coaches. How to find out about PowerPass discounts Login to your PowerPass account and search for a product. The list is exclusive to PowerPass account holders and won t be available through the regular Bunnings website. Bunnings PowerPass will email you discounts and exclusive offers. Another great way is to join your state s Facebook page, as often students will post a comment letting everyone know they have received a great discount when using their PowerPass card at Bunnings. Regular Priced Product Discounted PowerPass Product Bunnings Site PowerPass Site In Store Regular priced products will be on the Bunnings site. Discounted products will be on the PowerPass site. You may get a surprise at checkout NOTE the PowerPass is not used in conjunction with your National Trade Group card which has no bearing on the discounts received at Bunnings. 1 Apply for Bunnings PowerPass online Visit www.bunningspowerpass.com.au select Apply Now and complete your details as follows: Step 1 Customer Details Account Details Do you already have a current PowerPass card? What type of customer are you? What is your Business Type? Do you wish to apply for a Credit facility? Business Details ACN, ABN or Business Registration Number. Business email address & confirm email. Customer Details Title, First Name, Surname, Email. Preferred Bunnings Store Select No. If you already have a PowerPass card, get in touch with coaches@renovatingforprofit.com.au Select Commercial / Trade. The Owner Builder option is only for students who have a current Owner Builder permit and you will be required to provide a copy. Select Company. Or whichever your relevant option is associated with your ABN. Select No-Cash. This is our recommendation. Add your relevant number. At this point the system will look up your company name and fill this in automatically and can t be changed. Add your email address. Add your information. Cards can only be issued in the names of registered Renovating For Profit students only. Select your store. Step 2 Business Details Industry Business Contact Details Email Address, business phone and email. Trading Address Street number, name, Suburb, State and Postcode. Postal Address Select Handyman. This is available under the Trade heading. Add contact details. Add your address details. This is the address associated with your ABN, not necessarily the site address. Select No. Unless you have a postal address, then select Yes. Step 3 Cards Job Number First Card Additional Card Holder Select No. If you need to have Bunnings record a job number on your invoice, select Yes, a really good idea if you are renovating multiple properties. Enter the Title, First name and Surname. Select Add Card. If you need to be issued with multiple cards, select this option and then complete the Title, First name and Surname. Step 4 Finish Up Summary Business Contact Online Access Username and password. Security Questions Terms & Conditions General Acknowledgements and Declarations Confirm that your details are correct. Add your unique username & password. Add your answers. Scroll down to select the Agree button. Scroll down to select the Agree button. Select Submit 2 Receive confirmation from Bunnings Bunnings will send you a confirmation email once your account has been approved containing your account number. You will receive this confirmation email within 3 days from the time you submit your application. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please contact Bunnings Credit Risk Team on 1800 500 885. 3 PowerPass card is issued Bunnings post your PowerPass Card to you in the mail, typically within 14 days after you submit your application online. 4 Link your PowerPass account with your student profile The appropriate RFP discounts won t be applied until you do this step. Please forward the Bunnings account email you received to: coaches@renovatingforprofit.com.au When forwarding this email to RFP, please title your email: Bunnings Account Confirmation. 5 Coaches will verify you with Bunnings a b One of the Renovating For Profit property coaches will verify that the account holders name is a registered student of Renovating For Profit. Persons who are not registered students of Renovating For Profit are not permitted to obtain a RFP Bunnings PowerPass card. Renovating For Profit emails your PowerPass account number to Bunnings to confirm that you are a legitimate member of the RFP community. 6 Bunnings apply the discount Bunnings applies the Renovating For Profit national discount (via a national account discount code) to your specific account.
