3 SAFETY DIRECTIONS This device shall not be used by people with lower physical or mental abilities, children, or people without experience. Children should always be supervised not to touch the device. There are hot surfaces that might cause injury! It is recommended not to install the stove on floor made of flammable material. If so, a protective layer of non flammable material, of minimum thickness of 15 mm, should be positioned between the floor and the device. All electrical connections must be performed by an authorized professional. The device must be grounded. Connect the device plug to a grounded inlet. Make sure that the cable is not pressed under the stove or touching any hot surfaces. It is important to use dry wood (humidity 20%), cut at least one year before use, of 40 cm length for Airvent 25 and of 35 cm length for Airvent 15. In case of blackout, stop immediately the combustion by closing the air inlet (7,8) and open completely the exhaust damper (2). If you have a UPS with battery installed, do not add any more fuel in the fire chamber. If no UPS is installed, remove wood from the fire and reduce the fire to minimum possible. 4 INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS Choose the installation area so that the frontal face of the stove is directed to the space you want to be heated. Set the adjustable feet so that the stove is in horizontal position. Make sure the chimney installation is appropriate. Connect tight with the chimney. If there are horizontal parts of the chimney, they should have an inclination of at least 30 o with the floor. 4.1 Electrical diagram 4

The air inlets (7, 8) must be open. The stove is connected to electricity. The ash box is clean. Add some small pieces of wood in the furnace, and ignite with an appropriate tinder (DO NOT USE gasoline, alcohol or similar flammable liquids) and close the door. If necessary, open a little the ash drawer for some additional air inlet. Add some bigger wood logs, 1-2 every time, without opening the door too fast, to avoid smoke leakage. Do not add too much wood, because it will create excessive smoke and heat. DO NOT USE AS FUEL THE FOLLOWINGS: Wood with moisture or that has been processed Wood shavings Cardboards and paper Plastic or other waste materials Before you clean the ash, make sure there are no burning remains. Even if the ash seems cool, there can still be hot particles in the interior. 5.2 Use of control panel The control panel is already preset for the device. It activates the fan at the temperature of 50 o C and above. 5
In PROP mode, the fan speed modulates according to the sensor temperature; the higher the temperature, the higher the fan speed. If you want to change some parameters (activation temperature, min/max fan speed etc.) you can enter the control panel menu. ON/OFF function Keep pressed the P1 button for ON/OFF function. In OFF mode the lamp L1 will be activated. Mode selection MANUAL: The MAN indication is highlighted. The fan functions at a steady speed, regardless the temperature of the sensor. AUTOMATIC: The AUT indication is highlighted. The fan starts to function at a steady speed when the selected temperature has been reached (SET). PROPORTIONAL: The PROP indication is highlighted. The fan speed is modulated according to the sensor temperature, within the limits (SET SET+dEL). STANDBY: (If Stb=1) If the control panel is set to OFF and the sensor temperature is higher than the tsi value, then the control panel automatically changes to ON function. SECURITY: (If SIC=1 If the sensor temperature is higher than the tsi value and the MANUAL mode is activated at P0, then the control panel switches automatically to PROP mode after 10 seconds. ALARM: (If Enb=1) If the sensor temperature is higher than the tal value, then a sound alarm is activated. This alarm can be deactivated for 5 minutes by pressing any button. After 5 minutes it is reactivated if the temperature is still higher than the safety limit. Main menu Mode selection Press the P4 button for the current mode to appear on screen. By pressing again the P4 button you can cycle through the modes which will appear on screen. The mode is selected automatically after 5 seconds. The L5 led indicates the fan mode. Mode selection Press the P4 button for the current mode to appear on screen. By pressing again the P4 button you can cycle through the modes which will appear on screen. The mode is selected automatically after 5 seconds. The L5 led shows the fan mode. Fan speed selection By pressing the P2 or P3 buttons you can check the current fan speed (P0=OFF at Manual, P1=minimum speed, P10=maximum speed). This function is not available on PROPORTIONAL mode In AUTOMATIC mode the fan speed can be set from P1 to P10. 6
Alarm or Error signals Lo=low temperature (temperature below 0 o C: sensor not connected) Hi=high temperature (temperature higher than 180 o C: sensor short-circuited) ATTENTION: The sensor cable is designed for temperature until 250 o C. It must not come in contact with metallic parts of the stove that have a temperature higher than 250 o C. All electrical connections of the device must be executed by an experienced professional. Make sure there is no voltage when electrical works are executed. Parameters menu To enter the parameters menu keep presses P2 and P3 buttons for 5 seconds. Press the P2 or P3 button to check all the parameters, then press P4 to see the value assigned to each parameter. Afterwards, press again P2 or P3 to change the value. Press P4 to store changes and return to the parameter list. Changes are stored and you exit from the menu after 5 seconds of inactivity. Wait 10 seconds to exit the menu. 7
6 CLEANING AND MAINTENACE Once a year it is necessary to clean the stove and the chimney from the ash and dust remains. When you clean the stove have the ash drawer closed. Clean the door glass with a wet cloth or mild cleaners. Do not use active substances. Clean the exterior painted surfaces of the stove with a wet cloth, and not with drastic liquids. 7 WARRANTY The factory warranty for this device is 5 years after purchase, as long as all the regulations and directions of this manual are respected. For all electrical parts warranty is 1 year. If there is any dysfunction or flaw in the device during the warranty period, any repairs will be applied or spare will be provided with no charge. Problems that may occur from wrong use or application of the device, are not covered by warranty. 8
