World centre of excellence for solar thermal energy Fabrisolia S.L.U is located in Castellbisbal (Barcelona, Spain) with its own Centre of Excellence for Solar Thermal Energy for entire BDR Thermea Group and modern manufacturing plant. It is the most up-to-date solar panel manufacturing plant in the world. With an area of 10,000 m 2, it has a production capacity of up to 150,000 m 2 of solar panels per year. Thanks to the investment made by the group and the commitment of the company to maintaining its leadership in the development of efficient heating, cooling and domestic hot water solutions, the centre has become a benchmark in the international market. It is the only privately owned Spanish producer in the industry that has a laboratory for testing its own collectors and solar systems, certified to perform tests on both solar panels and solar equipment. In addition, in recent years it has made a significant investment in the R&D&I group in order to have at its disposal the latest advances in test instrumentation, computer systems, human resources and design material.

The application of solar thermal energy in single-family dwellings is the ideal solution for reducing home energy consumption throughout the year, since it can work both for heating domestic hot water and for heating swimming pools, as well as preheating water in central heating systems for heating support. MEDITERRANEO SLIM 200 FLAT PLATE SOLAR COLLECTOR Mediterráneo SLIM 200 is the lightest and thinnest solar panel on the market, and can be handled by one person. In addition, it is designed to be perfectly integrated into the architecture of the building, with its reduced thickness protruding less from the roof. The solar panel is manufactured using high quality materials and has a built-in highly selective absorber so to achieve highest performance. It can be installed both in thermosyphon type and forced type installations. MOUNTING SYSTEMS AND ACCESSORIES The range of mounting systems for SOL, Mediterráneo and SLIM collectors are designed to reduce installation times to a minimum. Aluminium construction to ensure a long service life. The mounting systems are supplied pre-assembled at the factory, so installation time is minimal. MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR FLAT ROOF Allows the slope to be varied from 30 to 55. For rows of more than two collectors supplements must be fitted from the third collector onwards. MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR SLOPING ROOFS For rows of more than two collectors supplements must be fitted from the third collector onwards. For example, in a row of 5 collectors, one support must be fitted for every two collectors and three supplements. Fitting for tile mounting. The mounting kit allows you to install the mounting systems for sloping roofs. Sloping roof mounting systems are supplied with an accessory for fitting screws through the tile. Additional accessory may also be supplied which allows the mounting systems to be fitted without the need to drill holes in the tile. It is designed to be installed with any type of tile. SOLAR EASY DHW The range of Solar Easy DHW systems represents a revolutionary new Plug & Play concept, ready to get the most benefit from solar thermal energy. The smallest possible space houses the hydraulic set, the expansion tank and the control unit. Fully connected and wired to form a single whole. The range comprises 14 different systems combining 160, 200, 300, 400 and 500 litre storage tanks, with the SOL 200, SOL 250, Mediterráneo SLIM 200 and Mediterráneo SLIM 250 collectors. Solar Easy DHW Benefits of the system: Easy to install: You only need to connect the pipe from the storage tank to the solar collectors. Minimum space required: The storage tank integrates all components needed for installation, thus taking up the minimum possible space. With overheating protection: There is no need to install any system for eliminating surplus heat, since it has a nighttime recirculation system for the elimination of surplus heat, as well as a built-in oversized expansion vessel. The SOLAR EASY DHW central heating and pool systems comprise all the elements needed to install a solar DHW system with backup for both central heating and the pool. Incorporates the plate heat exchanger and regulation needed for pool heating. The site includes a storage tank-in-a-tank, that is, a storage tank in which the bottom part is used as a thermal inertia tank and the upper tank is used for the production of DHW. The control unit controls all elements of the installation, including the solar circuit circulator (starts and stops depending on the storage tank temperature and solar collector), and the three-way valve in the heating circuit (opens and closes the storage tank depending on the temperature the tank and the return heating water). There is no need to install any system for eliminating surplus heat. Nighttime recirculation system preprogrammed in the control unit for the elimination of surplus heat, and an oversized expansion vessel. RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS Thermosyphon Systems

THERMOSYPHON SYSTEMS. STS 150/200 2.0/200 2.5/300 The Thermosyphonic System is the ideal solution for providing compact and low cost water heated by the action of sunlight, especially in areas with a high level of solar radiation and a suitable climate. Fully autonomous operation of the thermosyphon is based on the principle of natural circulation, so there is no need for a circulator or a regulation system. The bracket and fittings provided make it easy and convenient to install the equipment directly on a flat roof or on the same slope as a pitched roof. A thermostatic mixer must be installed to combine tap water and hot water from the solar tank to achieve the most comfortable water temperature. SUPPLY FORMAT Supplied in 3 packages.
