Lobis Oiled surfaces Maintenance: For daily maintenance, use the vacuum cleaner with a soft brush or a broom. At regular intervals, depending on the strain and the soiling, a wet cleaning should be carried out. Therefore, our LobiCARE oil-soap should be used. It not only cleans but also renews the oil application helping to preserve the beauty and ease of maintenance of your oiled wooden floor. Remove coarse dirt with a broom and vacuum cleaner. Add 75 ml LobiCARE oil soap to 5 liters of water and wipe with a damp cloth.
Böden Pavimenti Water spotting: Simply wipe off with LobiCARE oil soap and a soft rag. Persistent stains and minor repairs: Scratches, scorch marks, stubborn water stains, and so forth may in extreme cases be sanded down with fine sandpaper or abrasive fabric, in the direction of the grain. Put the LobiCARE hard oil on a soft cloth. Mend and lightly polish the damaged areas. Attention, this can occasionally lead to temporary color changes. Important tips: Carry out only dry cleaning during the first 20 days after the installation. Freshly oiled floors are very sensitive. Moisture should not get to the floor. Repeated exposure to moisture leads to swelling of the wood fiber and to water stains, therefore always wipe with a damp cloth. Carpets should be laid, if at all, only after complete curing (after 2-3 months). Attention! Carpets lead to different discolorations in wood and in case of underfloor heating to heat accumulation. Use only cleaning and care products recommended by us. We do not accept any liability for damage caused by the use of wrong products. Provide chairs with felt pad protectors or use chair caster suitable for parquet. A basic cleaning and full care is rarely necessary. A complete basic cleaning should be carried out by a specialist, when and if necessary.
Ich steh drauf! Attention! Avoid direct contact of steel (iron) with the wooden floor as it reacts with tannic acid in the wood. This inevitably leads to dark spots in the wood floor. Ensure the right indoor climate (ideal humidity between 45% and 65%). In case of underfloor heating, the screed temperature should not exceed 28 C.

Important tips: Do not use aggressive and/or solvent- or glycerin-containing agents. Especially with overdose, these products can attack the lacquer layer and cause possible damage. Clean only with a dry or slightly damp cloth, never with a wet one.
