Skandi Living & Dining The evolution of a concept creates a Scandinavian feel to this Living, Dining and Occasional oak range. The furniture tops are bevel shaped on the edges underneath, suggesting a floating depth that is a key part of the design. These attractive styled tops blend well with the angled dining table legs, themselves lending an elegant perspective to the overall look. There is a nice compact impression to the range with the curved gloss metal handles adding the final touch. Care and Maintenance The Furniture should be dusted with a soft dry cloth. A coat of natural beeswax should be applied to the wood a couple of times a year to maintain its luster. Avoid the use of cleaning agents or spray polish as these can contain abrasive substances or solvents, and over a period of time these can penetrate the finish and spoil the surface. Furniture tops may be damaged by hot plates, wet cups and objects with sharp or hard surfaces. It is recommended to use place mats. Spilt liquids should be wiped off immediately. When lifting/carrying the tables or larger items, they should be carried by at least two people and held along the sides and/or the frame. No additional loads should be on the furniture and it must not be pulled along the floor this can weaken the joints and damage the furniture permanently. The Furniture should be placed at least 1 meter from active heat sources such as radiators and heaters. They should be used in rooms that are dry, closed and protected against the effect of atmospheric conditions including the effect of direct sunlight. Too dry or damp air may cause deformities to some parts of the furniture. Avoid placing the furniture on damp surfaces. If applicable, at least every 4 months the bolts should be checked to make sure that they are tight. The chair pads can be cleaned with a vacuum with a soft brush attachment. Never use cleaning agents that contain abrasive substances or solvents. Chairs needs to be placed on a level surface to ensure stability when sitting. The chair is only intended for indoor use and can be used by one person only. Maximum load: 100kg. Do not stand on the chairs.
