Important quality features Important quality features Our brushes and cleaner bodies for plansifters are made of food-safe polyurethane, a highly flexible material that is easy on sieve frames and therefore prolongs their service life, too. All product components (brushing material, slider knob, the fixing wire for the bristles) consist of selected highquality raw materials that ensure a long lifespan. The materials used in our manufacturing processes are hard-wearing even when subjected to extreme temperatures and humid atmospheres. They protect the sieves from becoming clogged, and are resistant to fats and enzymes. FILIP takes into consideration the operational environment of the cleaners in the plansifters: form (triangular), arrangement of the brushing material, and weight are aligned so that the sieve frames and mesh work perfectly even when subjected to maximum loads thanks to a dynamic knocking and cleaning effect. The bristles and/or studs are arranged over the entire surface area of the cleaner to ensure excellent results. Before leaving our works and being used by the customer, every single cleaner we manufacture undergoes a number of strict quality checks. The final quality control is documented and signed by one of our staff, the paperwork accompanying the goods being shipped. 05

Food safety compliance: FDA / EU In the mill, FILIP products come into direct contact with the product to be sifted thus with foodstuffs. For this reason, FILIP pays great attention to ensuring the raw materials we use are food-safe. The directives applied are: FDA Code of Federal Regulations (USA), Food and Drugs, FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1680 Title: For Direct Food Contact (USA). Regulation (EU) no. 1935/2004 dated 27 October 2004 which refers to materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Regulation (EU) no. 2023/2006 dated 22 December 2006 which refers to good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. Regulation (EU) no. 10/2011 dated 14 January 2011 which refers to plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs. 07
