INTRODUCTION Dromon Port and Flag State Inspection Department has issued this publication showing the most frequently deficiencies per port. The tables shown in this publication present information collected by the Port and Flag State Department the rolling period of the last three (3) years through Port State Control Inspections on board Dromon vessels. The ports mentioned in this publication reflect the most frequently visited ports. The most notable and common deficiencies are the ones that the Port State Control Officers pay the outmost attention. Shipowners / Managers / Operators are encouraged to take a note on the information mentioned in this publication and if necessary corrective actions to be implemented to avoid possible deficiencies. Special attention should be given on those deficiencies aiming to achieve better results and clear PSC Reports. DBS strongly encourages the crew on board to use DBS PSC Inspection Checklist, prior the ship s arrival into port. For further assistance on PSC matters please contact DBS Head Office through psc@dromon.com.

Paris MoU The organization consists of 27 participating maritime Administrations and covers the waters of the European coastal States and the North Atlantic basin from North America to Europe. The current member States of the Paris MoU are Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the Russian Federation, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Annually more than 18,000 inspections take place on board foreign ships in the Paris MoU ports, ensuring that these ships meet international safety, security and environmental standards, and that crew members have adequate living and working conditions. Black Sea MoU The Black Sea MoU on Port State control is a system of harmonized inspection procedures designed to target sub-standards ships with the main objective being their eventual elimination. The information contained in the web-site is aimed to provide industry with a brief outline of port State control procedures under the Black Sea MOU. The current member States of the Black Sea MoU are Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine. Tokyo MoU The Tokyo MOU is one of the most active regional port State control (PSC) organizations. The Organization consists of 20 member Authorities in the Asia-Pacific region. The current members are Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Russian Federation, Singapore, Thailand, Vanuatu and Viet Nam.
