Do not use the appliance if you suffer from ache, eczema or any other skin irritations. Do not use the appliance on inflamed skin. Do not touch the blade of the inner blade (metallic part) with your finger. Doing so may result in injury to your finger. Do not use a rechargeable battery. 5 5 Never alter the appliance. OPERATION Preparation Your multi hair trimmer requires one 1.5 V AA LR6 alkaline battery. 1 To open the battery compartment, rotate the battery cap B to the left and pull it off. 2 Insert the AA alkaline battery, so that the + and - marks on the battery match with the polarity marks in the battery compartment. Notes The appliance will not work if the battery is inserted incorrectly. Remove the battery if the appliance will not be used for a long period of time. Environmental note: Batteries, including those which do not contain heavy metal, should not be disposed of with household waste. Always dispose of used batteries in accordance with local environmental regulations. 3 To close the battery compartment, put the battery cap B back on and rotate it to the right until the cap snaps into place. 18 ENGLISH Attaching and exchanging attachments 1 Ensure that the appliance is switched off. 2 If there is an attached attachment, remove it by turning it to the right to the unlocked position and pull it off. 3 Attach the desired attachment by placing it on the top of the appliance and turning it to the left until it locks into position. Removing hair from nose 1 Ensure that the appliance is switched off. 2 Attach the trimming attachment with rotating blade E. 3 To turn the appliance on, turn the On/Off switch B to the right. 4 Insert the cutting unit gently into the nostril. Caution Do not insert the appliance too far into the nose during use. 5 Gently move the cutting edge in and out of the nostril while rotating the appliance. 6 To turn the appliance off, turn the On/Off switch B to the left.
OPERATION Note: The vertical trimming head C can be used for nose hair removal as well. Removing hair from eyebrows 1 Ensure that the appliance is switched off. 2 Attach the vertical trimming head C. Notes For trimming attach the eyebrow comb attachment D on the vertical trimming head C. Depending on the direction of the eyebrow comb attachment, its cutting length will be either 3 or 5 mm. To remove hairs completely use only the vertical trimming head C. 4 To turn the appliance on, turn the On/Off switch B to the right. 5 Gently guide the cutting unit over the area of unwanted hair along the eyebrow line or the eyebrow itself. Caution: Do not apply excessive pressure as this damages the attachment and may cause skin injury. 6 To turn the appliance off, turn the On/Off switch B to the left. Removing hair from ear 1 Ensure that the appliance is switched off. 2 Attach the vertical trimming head C. 3 To turn the appliance on, turn the On/Off switch B to the right. 4 Insert the cutting unit gently into the ear. Caution Do not insert the appliance too far into the ear during use. 5 Gently move the cutting edge in and out of the ear while rotating the appliance. 6 To turn the appliance off, turn the On/Off switch B to the left. Note: The rotating head E can be used for ear hair removal as well. ENGLISH 19
INFORMATION Cleaning and care 1 Turn the appliance off and remove the battery. 2 Rinse the accumulated hair from the cutters and shake off excess water. 3 Clean the housing of the appliance only with a soft damp cloth. Caution: Do not immerse the device in water. Do not use any cleaning agents or other fluids. Note: Before using the appliance after cleaning, dry all parts carefully with a soft cloth or paper towel. We recommend you clean your multi hair trimmer after each use. The easiest and most hygienic way to clean the multi hair trimmer is rinsing the product head after use with warm water. Do not use salt water or hot water. Storage If you do not plan to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully. Make sure it is completely dry. Remove the battery and put the detachable protective cap A on. Store the appliance at a temperature between 15 C and 35 C. Keep the appliance in a cool and dry place. 5 5 Make sure the appliance is kept out of the reach of children. 20 ENGLISH
INFORMATION Environmental note This product has been manufactured with high quality parts and materials which can be reused and are suitable for recycling. Therefore, do not dispose of the product with normal domestic waste at the end of its service life. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
