SAFETY Please note the following instructions when using the appliance: 7 The appliance is designed for domestic use only. 7 This appliance should only be used for removing body hair. Any other use is expressly prohibited. 7 Observe these instructions in order to prevent damage to the appliance or danger arising from improper use. Keep them in a safe place. 7 Never use the appliance in the bath. 7 Do not completely immerse the appliance in water. 7 Only use the appliance on clean, dry skin. You should not apply any cream or lotion to the skin. 7 Avoid contact with hair on your head and eye lashes, and also clothes, brushes, cables, laces, etc. 7 Do not use the appliance if you suffer from acne, excema or any other skin irritations. Do not use the appliance on inflamed skin. 7 Inflammation of the skin is often caused by invasive bacteria. Clean the cutting head before and after every use. 7 The appliance should only be used by one person to avoid spreading any germs. 7 When the appliance is being charged, on no account should it come into contact with water or any other liquid. Any proximity to water is a hazard. 7 After charging, pull out the power supply unit. 7 Caution! Always keep the power supply unit dry. 7 Make sure that the accessories are properly attached to prevent them falling into water. 7 The appliance may only come into contact with moisture once it is disconnected from the charging unit and the power supply unit is no longer in the socket. 7 Do not drop the appliance. Special features The appliance has a high-quality, maintenance-free ceramic/stainless steel cutting head. This allows thorough and gentle trimming in the following areas: Leg and arm hair, underarms, neck hair and hair in intimate areas. You can use the appliance on wet or dry hair. ENGLISH 5

POWER SUPPLY Charging the battery The appliance runs with the built-in, rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery. Use the power supply unit supplied and the charging unit for charging the appliance. 1 Put the contacts E of the appliance into the contact in the charging unit. 2 Plug the power supply unit into the E socket on the charging unit. 3 Plug the power supply unit into the wall socket. The indicator H lights up red. Notes 7 Charge up the battery completely before you first use it or if you have not used it for a long time (24 hours). The charge indicator H goes out when the device is fully charged. 7 The charging time for a completely discharged battery is 12 hours. 7 The ambient temperature should be between 5 C and 40 C. 7 When fully charged, the appliance works for around 35-40 minutes. It is not advisable to charge the battery after every use, especially if you do not use the appliance for the full 30 minutes. Only charge the battery when it is completely discharged. This increases its life. Do not charge it every day. 6 ENGLISH

OPERATION Switching on and off 1 Press the sliding switch D to turn the appliance on and off. Trimming hair 1 Use the ceramic/stainless steel cutting head without attachments for the closest possible trimming. Note 7 The trimming width of the ceramic/stainless steel cutting head is 25 mm. 2 Activate the precision trimmer C for more precise cutting. 3 Push the precision trimmer forwards until it latches and the cutting head is sticking out. 4 Push the trimmer back as far as it will go to deactivate it. Note 7 The trimming width of the precision trimmer is 14 mm. Cutting with the comb 1 Attach the extendable comb until it catches in the recess. 2 Set the trimming length by pressing the button on the comb attachment and pushing the comb forwards. You can then see the trimming length in a small display: ENGLISH 7

Trimming nose and ear hair 1 Take off the ceramic/stainless steel cutting head by pressing on the ceramic blade (white) and lift it off. Note 7 Do not insert the blade head of the precision trimmer too deeply into your nostrils or ears. 8 ENGLISH

OPERATION Removing hair completely 1 Take off the cutting head or precision trimmer. 2 Attach the razor foil attachment by pushing it into the slots on the appliance and let it latch into place. 3 Remove hair at the appropriate place just like using a shaver. ENGLISH 9

CLEANING AND CARE Cleaning and care 1 Switch off the appliance. 2 Take off the comb. 3 Clean the housing, the cutting head and the comb attachment or any other attachments with a soft damp cloth or the supplied brush. Note 7 You can also wash the cutting head under running water. Never completely submerge the appliance in water. 4 Before using the appliance again, dry all parts completely using a towel. 5 Do not use cleaning agents. 6 Put the comb back on again. Notes 7 Remove any clippings after each use. 7 The cutting head of your appliance does not normally need to be oiled. If you want to maintain the original condition of the cutting head for as long as possible, it is worth oiling it at regular intervals (with the oil provided). Storage If you do not want to use the appliance for a long period of time, please store it carefully. 1 Ensure that it is unplugged and is completely dry. 2 Store the parts in the original packaging in a cool, dry place. 3 Make sure the appliance is kept out of reach of children. 10 ENGLISH
