Carefully unpack your contact grill. Remove all packaging materials. 2. Place the Grill on a flat, level surface close to a 220-240 volt wall outlet. Open the Grill Lid. 3. Wipe the Cooking Plates with a damp cloth so that they are clean. 4. Wipe the outside of the Grill Housing with a soft damp cloth. NEVER immerse the Grill, power cord and plug in water or any other liquid. 5. Close the Grill. 6. Plug into the wall outlet and pre-heat for 5 minutes. HOW TO USE YOUR GRILL 1. Place your grill on a flat dry surface close to a 220-240 volt wall outlet. 2. Close the Grill and plug it into a 220-240 volt wall outlet. Press the power button. The red Power light will illuminate. 3. The unit's default temperature setting will be 140 C. Use the adjustment buttons to set the desired cooking temperature. The grill will begin to heat up. When the green Ready light illuminates, the grill will have reached the correct temperature for cooking. At the same time, you will be able to press the time button and the adjustment buttons to set the desired cooking time, based on the type and thickness of food, as well as personal taste. When the set time has elapsed, a beeper will sound five times to alert consumers. 4. Open the contact grill and place food on the bottom grill plate. Close the lid and press down gently. 5. The cooking time will depend on the type of food in use and your personal taste. 3
CARE AND CLEANING 1. Unplug the contact grill from the wall outlet and allow it to cool completely. 2. Clean the outer surfaces of the grill with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or scouring pads which may scratch the non-stick coating 3. The appliance must not be immersed.
