The area s Culture Center, located in a central park, was designed to celebrate and showcase the environmental sensitivity and community-oriented feel of the new town. With 6,000 SM of exhibition, education, performance, leisure and entertainment facilities across two floors, the culture center provides a fluid interaction between interior and exterior spaces. Inspired by a rootstock tangled with pieces of rock, the horizontal building is highly integrated with the landscape and nature. The building encourages and stimulates public access and interactions within its dynamic spaces. Master Planning, Architecture, Environmental Graphic Design In heart of a former fishing village, RTKL was commissioned to design City Crossing, a world-class mixed use development. As a flagship model for future projects of its kind, the three-part, 77,000-SM plan is a widely-appealing mix of retail, residential, and hospitality options. The business-oriented northern section of the development links to the middle section by a six-level retail and entertainment center that houses international retailers, a multiplex cinema, banking, a supermarket, and an Olympic-size skating rink. The middle section contains additional retail and entertainment options. Conceived as an urban neighborhood, the southern sector of the project showcases a 300-room hotel and terraced, lower-height residential buildings offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The indoor/ outdoor hybrid mall format includes an exciting mix of 375 retail shops, outdoor streetscape activities, three cinemas and a 600-seat food court. Visiting the multi-level destination is simple thanks to the center s direct connection with Japan Rail s Itami Station. The center is divided into three distinct buildings a hypermarket, a commercial center and a restaurant area. These lifestyle-driven offerings surround plazas that facilitate around-theclock use. As a direct pathway between home and transit, commuters traverse a landscaped plaza with cafe seating, ice rink, performance podium and a lawn for concerts and other events. RTKL brought the Boardwalk resort to life with architecture, imagery, and comprehensive wayfinding and signage programs. The awardwinning plan includes a 22-screen cinema, more than 20,439 SM of retail including restaurants, anchor retail stores and inline shops, nearly 100 residential units with a number of housing types, two parking structures, civic spaces and a year-round events program. By adding more than 90 shops and restaurants, a Virgin Megastore and office space along with 216 loft apartments and 1,600 mostly underground parking spaces the plan creates a true sense of community. The 1,586-seat Angelika Film Center, incorporating eight theaters and a café, serves as a civic center in addition to its role as a cinema, making Mockingbird Station the true centerpiece of the neighborhood. 娱乐我们的作品

Architecture and Environmental Graphic Design The City of Manchester, after suffering a devastating terrorist bomb attack in its city center, commissioned RTKL to design the Printworks as a central component of its restoration project. Behind the preserved façade of a former newspaper headquarters, RTKL created a whole new entertainment district that mimics a neighbourhood of winding streets and storefronts, offering entertainment for the entire family. Anchored by a 9,290 SM multiplex cinema, the Printworks offers 18,581 SM of retail and leisure uses. A new 1,000-space car park and metrolink station make it easy for guests to visit the Printworks. 娱乐我们的作品

As interest and excitement about the RKTL-designed project grew, so did the scale of the project. Now the final build-out of the mixed-use project will comprise a retail/leisure center, two office buildings, a hotel and one or more museums. Phase One of the development is the new retail/leisure center with four distinct, easily navigable zones dedicated to fashion, goods for the home, leisure/ entertainment and sports. 娱乐我们的作品

Architectural Design and Environmental Graphic Design Garden Walk, a modest shopping center located about 30 minutes from Tokyo, sought to reinvent itself into a luxury retail experience. RTKL designed the renovations and provided a strong visual theme that fosters a pleasing sense of aesthetic unity throughout the center. Employing a motif of flowers and urban gardens, the design transformed the center into a vibrant, colorful shopping environment that makes a strong connection with shoppers. The environmental graphics provide a strong identity for the center, as well as integrating it with the neighboring park and community, turning the center into a vibrant focal point for the town. 娱乐我们的作品

(Acquired by the Rouse Company in January 2002) Architecture and Environmental Graphic Design The future of retail environments is embodied in The Streets at Southpoint, located in the high-growth area of Durham, North Carolina. The 120,774 SM development integrates a 14,864 SM Main Street, a 32,051 SM regional mall and five major anchor stores into a cohesive retail and entertainment destination. The open-air Main Street features a mix of lifestyle and entertainment-oriented retailers, restaurants and an 18-screen cinema and IMAX theater. A model of convergence, the Main Street seamlessly transitions into an enclosed two-level mall at the opposite end of the development. 娱乐我们的作品

拉拉港购物中心 地点 : 客户 : 服务 : 日本, 船桥三井不动产建筑设计 环境标识设计 拉拉港购物中心的业主希望在不牺牲现有商业魅力的同时 RTKL 能够设计新的时尚购物中心和餐厅, 扩建的 32516 平方米使中心总面积达到 17187 平方米, 继续保持了其尊贵风格 时尚购物区为带拱形顶棚的三层结构, 带有三层中庭 新的三层餐饮区所有的餐厅入口都朝向繁华的步行街, 成为多丽港和购物中心之间的连接 Lalaport Shopping Center Location: Client: Services: Tokyo, Japan Mitsui Fudosan Architecture and Environmental Graphic Design The owners of Lalaport Shopping Center wanted to increase their site's amenities without sacrificing its renowned charm. RKTL s design added a new fashion/lifestyle mall and a restaurant building, adding 32,516 SM of new development and bringing the center s total size to over 171,871 SM while still preserving its venerable character. The fashion/lifestyle component is a three-story structure with a vaulted skylight and three-story atrium running the length of the building. The new three-story restaurant building faces all restaurant entrances onto the bustling promenade and serves as the primary link between Harbor Dori and the shopping center. 娱乐我们的作品

Sited at a critical junction of two subway lines, a regional train line and one of the city s largest bus stations, a phased design program ensured that all transit lines continued to run during the construction of the landmark 10,219 SM project. An innovative glass node provides an elegant entranceway to the center, allowing visitors to experience upscale shopping in the restored train station, or enjoy films and fine dining in the newly constructed entertainment wing. 娱乐我们的作品

Seeking to develop an underground hot spring into a sophisticated spa facility, the developers created a demanding program that include a rollercoaster, ferris wheel, entertainment amenities, fine dining and event-day shopping. Through the use of water as a unifying design element, RTKL s designers were able to bring these disparate elements together into an entertaining, cohesive whole. LaQua functions as an oasis, providing the residents of Tokyo with a perfect one-day escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life in Japan s biggest city. 娱乐我们的作品
