We re transforming the lobby experience to serve you better, activate the community and enrich your daily life. After extensive consultation, the Angel Place Management Team is excited to bring you the details of our plans to transform the ground floor of Angel Place. Whilst totally refurbishing the look and feel of Angel, the proposed scheme promises to not only transform the lobby, but also the way in which our customers use and interact with the building. We will be bringing new facilities, new services, and a whole new life to Angel Place. BRINGING ANGEL PLACE TO LIFE
The Scheme The first stage of the lobby refurbishment is in the Northern side of the building, and will deliver an upgraded multipurpose room, a new Hotel-style collaboration zone, as well as a private work zone perfect for smaller, intimate meetings. Stage 1 Angel Place
Multipurpose Room Customers have told us that they enjoy the yoga and meditation classes on offer, however require more flexible space for large gatherings outside of their tenancy. This is the inspiration for our new multipurpose room. The room will be capable of holding a cocktail function, through to large board meetings, or a training seminar and will be the home of our wellbeing classes such as yoga. The room will feature state of the art audio visual equipment and will be available for bookings via the Community Portal. WELLBEING CLASSES MEETINGS & TRAINING FUNCTIONS
The Northern Lobby The feature piece of our refurbishment transformation, the northern lobby will deliver a collaborative zone set aside for the exclusive use of our customers. If it s a quick chat with a colleague, or a just a casual meeting with a client, the Northern Lobby will meet your needs. The furniture and décor have been intentionally selected to provide a comfortable and calm environment, while still offering a practical purpose. Capable of seating over 100 people in comfort, the Northern Lobby will become your new favourite meeting space. COMFORTABLE FURNITURE CASUAL MEETINGS COLLABORATIVE ZONE
PRIVATE DISCUSSIONS The Terrace With its elevated position and natural light coming in from Pitt Street, the Terrace will be one of the most desirable places in the building to work. In contrast to the Northern Lobby, The Terrace offers privacy and seclusion, perfect for a more formal discussion or as somewhere to escape from the office and concentrate on a document. The unique meeting pods in the Terrace will offer an alternative to your office environment adding further flexibility to you existing tenancy. The pods will be accompanied by a large communal work desk, a perfect spot to stop for 20 minutes between meetings, or to tap away for a few hours away from the office. With power and charging available, the Terrace will truly become your second office. OFFICE ESCAPE
What you need to know STAGE ONE The first stage of the transformation will commence on the 8th of December and will run through until March 2018. This work focuses on constructing the new Multipurpose Room as well as re-tiling the lift lobbies, the front entrance, the Southern Lobby and Carpark lift area. During these works the End of Trip Facilities will remain open, however access will be via the stairs next to Bar Cupola or the Access Lift. Work on the Northern Lobby and The Terrace will commence in March and we aim for completion around August. We will keep you updated at all times throughout all stages of work.
