Whether assembled vertically, horizontally or even in separate rooms the different heating and fresh hot water modules can be combined and arranged perfectly to suit your requirements. HEAT INTERFACE UNIT PROVEN SYSTEM The modular TacoTherm Dual Piko Heat Interface Unit distributes heat energy and prepares fresh hot water for apartments. It delivers hygienically heated drinking water on demand and at the required outlet temperature. Different heating modules are available for supplying heat to radiators and/or underfloor heating and can be selected individually so that only those functions that are actually needed are integrated. This flexibility is appreciated by both building owners and contractors who remain com petitive. The station furthermore supplies all the data needed to calculate water and energy costs for the individual apartments thanks to water and heat meters installed in the fresh hot water module. This station is an allrounder, and not just when it comes to planning and installation, but also in terms of usage. FLEXIBLE THROUGH AND THROUGH Finding the right space in the building for the Taco- Therm Dual Piko is made simple because of its flat design at just 110 mm. Constructed on a base plate or assembled in a built-in cabinet, the numerous options offer almost unlimited flexibility in terms of planning and design with different manifold sizes and regulating modes for heating and preparing domestic hot water. INSTALLATION MADE SIMPLE The freedom of choice when placing the modules simplifies installation. Moreover, all stations can be ordered as flush, shaft or on-wall version. And that's not all. The developers at Taconova have also come up with even more user-friendly details: Every module comes pre-wired and therefore ready for installation, significantly reducing the time needed at the construction site and minimizing potential sources of error.

You can position the station how and where you wish: vertically, horizontally and even in separate rooms. TACOTHERM DUAL PIKO THE SPACESAVER Despite the compact design with an installation depth of just 110 mm, the station integrates several functions: preparation of fresh hot water, supply of underfloor heating and connection for radiators. TACOTHERM FRESH PIKO FRESH HOT WATER MODULE CONTROLLED ELECTRONICALLY The model with electronic pump control uses flow rate and temperature sensors to ensure the right hot water outlet temperature. A high dispensing rate even at lower hot water temperatures allows this model to be used in particular with low temperature heat sources such as heat pumps. TACOSYS PIKO HEATING MODULE WITH 2 12 CIRCUITS Radiators or a heating module with underfloor heating manifolds can be fitted to distribute the heat and guarantee heating of the individual rooms. A combination of radiators and underfloor heating is also possible. The temperature in the heating circuits can be adjusted by means of fixed-value control. TACOTHERM FRESH PIKO FRESH HOT WATER MODULE WITH PROPORTIONAL FLOW CONTROLLER This model with mechanical control components, especially the proportional flow controller, ensures high control quality of the domestic hot water temperature without any additional power supply. The upstream standby module uses a thermostatic bypass control to reduce the standby losses when supplying the dispensing points with domestic hot water.
IDEAL FOR LOWEST TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES Taconova uses electronic pump control to increase the efficiency of the heat interface units. Preparation of domestic hot water can therefore be assured even in the case of low flow temperatures (low temperature systems) on the primary side. TACOTHERM DUAL PIKO CONNECT HEAT INTERFACE UNIT FOR LOW FLOW TEMPERATURES AS A 3-PIPE SYSTEM This model ensures high hot water supply of the heat exchanger thanks to the electronic pump control. This allows use at lower flow temperatures with simultaneously high dispensing rate on the domestic hot water side.
