Wolfgang originally trained as a typographer before he embarked on his design studies; graduating in 1979 and winning the Braun award in 1980. After years as a freelance designer working in collaboration with many eminent names and lecturing extensively in Berlin, London and his old school in Schwabisch Gmund, he opened his own design studio in Eislingen. John Coleman John Coleman is a renowned designer who has studiously worked on an endless list of prestigious commissions for corporate, leisure and private clients since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1979. John s work has been extensively commissioned, exhibited and published worldwide. A luxurious and satisfying design, displaying both classic and contemporary elements. With a multitude of possibilities, Paver is a luxurious low level block based sofa system that utilises a few simple elements. The carefully considered proportions, combined with the striking out turned seam detail of the upholstery, conceal a traditional construction covered in super soft foams. Mimosa Design - Dondoli+Pocci Designer Profile. Mimosa is a fantastically comfortable lounge chair with a design that invites the user to find a multitude of positions. Inspired by retro mid-century design, the quilted seat contrasts the formality of the structural column base. The inclusion of a table in this range further enhances its capabilities. Jonathan Prestwich After finishing University in 1995 with a degree in industrial design, Jonathan left England to work in a design studio in Boston Massachusetts. Jonathan went from the US to France, working for the next six years with Burkhard Vogtherr. This experience could be likened to a traditional apprenticeship as Jonathan learned first hand from a highly respected designer. In 2003 Jonathan moved to London where, after briefly working with Barber Osgerby, set up his own studio in London in 2004. Mayze Design - Jonathan Prestwich 12 13

Dondoli+Pocci Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci established their studio in 1983 as an industrial planning, design and architecture studio, which from 1989 has been focused exclusively on industrial design. Cirque Design - Dondoli+Pocci The studio prides itself on delivering the highest quality products, through leading edge technology and the best of Italian design. Challenging convention on design and production methods, Archirivolto believe that great design should be accessible and affordable to as many people as possible. Cirque blends three material elements of upholstery, polyurethane shell and wooden leg frame seamlessly to produce a beautifully proportioned family of products. Including a dining chair, high bar stool and a lounge chair, the addition of a complementary range of dining tables further enhances the opportunities for this product. The pressed upholstered detailing is the key signature of the product s design. 14 15

The use of fully recyclable materials provide a sound environmental specification. Sholes has been designed specifically to support collaborative work settings. Finished in a reformed oak veneer which can be clear lacquered or stained, whilst the steel tripod frames are available in a fine textured, mineral coloured range of powder coat finishes. His remarkable career is the result of his intelligent designs, which he incorporates into modern technical architecture. With every Senator design comes a great deal of thought. The design process begins way before pencil reaches paper, beginning with looking at you. We look at how you sit, reach, move and work to create a design which not only looks beautiful, but is a pleasure to use too. Ecoflex Design - Justus Kolberg LESS IS MORE Ecoflex is a minimal masterpiece, combining a clean understated aesthetic design with outstanding functional flexibility. It s stylish, light and built with sustainability in mind, so it makes an impact on any interior without making an unnecessary impact on the environment. Kolberg earned his industrial design degree from Muthesius School in Kiel, Germany in 1990 and held positions in Spain and Germany before striking out on his own. He has run his own studio in Hamburg since 1997, and has become a successful freelance designer working with a multitude of international companies. He has received many awards such as, 1st prize Design Champion ; 1st prize Design-Week-Award Great Britain ; IDEA-Gold Industrial Design Excellence Award and red dot nine times. 28 29

Gone were the days where work consisted of isolated tasks in a single location; sharing of information was now the key for successful businesses and this was leading to staff being seated in a number of different environments. Senator took the challenge to PearsonLloyd who recognised the need for a chair that could be easily adapted to suit different circumstances. SIMPLE, ADAPTABLE, PRACTICAL FLEXIBILITY AT WORK Ad-Lib LiteWork is the ideal solution for ad hoc touch down working areas as well as team based project meeting environments. The inclusion of the dynamic yoke incorporates a free floating tilt action and seat height adjustment which enhances the ergonomic performance of this chair. A multitude of sizes with a common design language. The Ad-Lib table programme is a multi-purpose system designed to provide a range of table shapes and sizes. The programme spans from 800mm coffee tables through to vast boardroom tables.
