The Microfiber Difference To qualify as a microfiber, the individual filaments composing the yarn must be less than 1 denier (a measurement of density for synthetic fibers). Unfortunately, not all microfiber products perform, or are produced, equally. CleanAide products are made using the highest quality raw materials with the most technologically advanced machinery. We start with AAgrade non-recycled plastic pellets which are mixed, melted and extruded into single fibers. During this process, state of the art machinery is used to monitor and control the precise timing, pressure and temperature needed to produce the fiber. After extruding the fibers, they are Cross Section gathered and spun into microfiber yarn. A of Split sampling of the yarn is tested for strength Microfiber and thickness to ensure that the quality of its fibers meets our standards. Once the yarn is approved, it is woven into cloth and goes through a special chemical process to split the fibers. Our factories superior microfiber technology produces split fibers between 0.20 0.25 denier, less than 1/0 the diameter of a human hair - it is some of the finest fiber produced today. This produces a significantly increased surface of contact, giving the microfiber fabric its exceptional water retention and dirt grabbing capabilities. Unlike cotton, which only pushes dirt and dust into small piles, microfiber actually lifts and traps the particles into its fine fibers. Microfiber not only leaves a dust-free, lint-free and streak-free shine but also helps eliminate and reduce allergens.
