SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
8150 AND 8151 INSTALLATION FORWARD This manual covers the model # 8150 and 8151 front loading steamers You can be very proud of your 8150 and 8151 steamer. In addition to being an attractive "eye catcher", it contains various engineering innovations which make it the leader in the industry. The exterior of the machine is designed and built-up to present an attractive appearance for many years. FRONT LOAD STEAMER INSTALLATION CHECKING SHIPMENT Unpack the shipping crate and check thoroughly for any damage which may have occurred in transit. Any claims should be filed immediately with the transportation company. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS Voltage for your warmer is 120 Volt, 60 Cycle, single phase. The 8150 will draw a maximum of 5.8 amps and the 8151 a maximum of 8.5 amps. Your electrician must furnish sufficient current for the proper operation of your machine. We recommend that this machine be fused on a line by itself. The switches and controls which operate the warmer are located on the top front of the machine. NOTE: These instructions apply to all machines manufactured after 4/1/1975 and supercedes any sticker or wiring instructions you may have received. Failure to wire properly will void the warranty and can result in damage to the blower, heat element, lights, etc. 3
8150 AND 8151 8150 AND 8151 FRONT LOAD STEAMER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CONTROLS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS HEAT CONTROL Infinite heat control w/ off position. Since these machines use an infinite heat control, the element may not be on all the time. The pilot light tells you when the element is operating. EASY STEPS FOR USING UNIT 1. Prepare Steamer for operation a. Fill the water pan with warm water (up to 4 quarts for the 8150 and up to 6 quarts for the 8151) b. Place Hood on top of water pan. c. Place up to 30 hot dogs (8150) or 45 hotdogs (8151) in hot dog side of hood and cook for 45 minutes. BE SURE TO ARRANGE HOT DOGS LOOSLEY TO ALLOW STEAM CIRCULATE FREELY BETWEEN EACH OF THEM. g. At end of 45 minutes place 20 more dogs (8150) or 30 more dogs (8151) in hot dog side and cook for 30 more minutes. h. Place several buns in the bun side of the cabinet. Place buns as needed.
