Place the machine on a surface that guarantees a secure support. To get ready for set up, make sure you have an opening ( A-pic.1) on the support surface to allow connection with systems in the space below ( B-pic.1). The machine should be exclusively connected to a source of cold drinking-water. The water pressure should be between 1 and 5 bar. If this is not possibile, please contact the manufacturer. An interception tap must be installed between the water system and the water feed pipe of the machine so that the passage of water can be closed if necessary (1-pic 1). INSTALLATION WARNING The installation must be done following current regulation and according to the following instructions. A wrong installation can cause damage to animals, objects or people. The manufacturer can not be held responsible for damages caused by improper installation. After removing the packing, check that the machine is in perfect conditions, in case of doubts do not use it. The packing components must not be left within the range of children because they might be a source of danger. Place the machine on a secure support and arrange the foot so that the machine is in the correct position. Before connecting the machine to the systems make sure that the data on the plate correspond to those of the installation place. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION The machine is supplied with a feed pipe without a plug.the connection of the machine to the electric system can be done in two different configurations : Connection to the electric system through an appropriated bipolar switch Connection of the supply pipe to the electric network through a certified plug, which must be accessible afetr the installation and when the machine is ready to be used. WATER INSTALLATION Connect the flexible pipe to the water system. Check that there are no narrowings or squashings throughout the flexible pipe. Screw the ring nuts of flexible pipes tightly. Before connecting the pipe coming from the network and/or the water softener, introduce this in a recipent and open the tap for some minutes in order to take away possibile remains of the new pipes. INSTALLATION WITH WATER SOFTENER The water softener is adviced when feeding water of the machine has a total hardness of more than 10 French degrees, because it prevents the creation of calcium within the machine itself.the water softener must be placed so that it is easily accessible for its maintenance and near the drain siphon (see the instructions of the softener). INSTALLATION WITHOUT WATER SOFTENER If the installation of a water softener is not necessary, it is essential to install a cartridge-filter immediately after the water supply tap, in order to prevent possible impurities in the water from damaging the motorpump. DRAINING INSTALLATION

Install the drain flexible pipe on the connection holding the rubber of the drain basin placed under the basin and put the other end of the pipe directly into the drain siphon. Check that the drain pipe has the correct sloping to allow the basin to discharge quickly. ATTENTION If you do not follow the previous instructions, the safety and the lasting of the machine may be endangered and the warranty itself decays. STARTING AND USE OF THE MACHINE Follow these instructions with the help of the scheme of the machine placed at the end of this manual Turn on the general switch (1a) of the machine on position 1 and check that the line indicator lights up. Immediately after switching on the machine, the automatic auto-level starts filling the boiler and the indicators (2) of the keyboard () start flashing. When the boiler has been charged, the coffeegroup starts heating (4) for about 7 minutes. When the indicators (2) stop flashing, the group (4) has reached the correct thermal level and can be used to make coffee. When the group has the correct thermal level, you can turn on the switch (1b) to heat the boiler. When the manometre controlling the boiler pressure reaches 1,5 bar, it is possibile to use the drawing tap for steam (5)and hot water (6). PREPARATION OF ESPRESSO COFFEE In order to always obtain a good coffee, the filter-holder (9) must be continuously connected to the coffee group (4 ) so that it is always at the correct temperature. Take away the filter-holder (9), avoiding to touch the hot metallic parts. Afterwards clean the filter within the filter-holder from the possibile remains of used coffee. Then charge the filter with new ground coffee (1 coffee dose for the one shot filter, 2 doses for the twoshots filter), press the ground coffee with the appropriated manual coffee-tamper with which the machine is equipped and clean the filter edge from possible coffee remains. Firmly connect the filter-holder to the coffee-group (4). Place the cups on the shelf 12 (whose height can be regulated according to the dimensions of the cups) and press one of the two automatic dosing buttons P1-P2. When the indicator of the pressed key goes off, coffee is ready. NOTE This machine has three buttons to make coffee, 2 ( P1 and P2) of which electronically dosed and one with continuous supply function and stop (P). The two dosed buttons must be regulated by the technician at the moment of the installation in accordance with the user, who must not try to change the programming on his own initiative. ATTENTION Do not put the hands under the coffee groups when they are functioning. Do not touch metallic parts of the coffe groups and of the filter-holders because they may cause bad burns.
