Specialists in the industry will already be familiar with the high levels of reliability and safety of Viega s Prestabo. Now this press fitting connection system, which is made from externally galvanised steel, is also available in dimensions from 64 mm 108 mm. This means that you have a complete single-grade range at your fingertips for property development contracts, such as schools, hospitals, homes for the elderly or industrial plants, and for welfare accommodation. The system offers diversity for heating systems, flexibility for compressed air systems and safety for cooling circuits. 64 mm a very special dimension Viega offers Prestabo XL in a 64 mm dimension. The benefit for you: If 54 mm is too small and 76.1 mm too big, this size allows tangible cost savings while at the same time reducing the space needed for installation. By the way: naturally, all Prestabo XL sizes can be pressed using Viega press fitting tools (32 kn) to produce a permanently safe connection in a matter of seconds. Opt for a cost-efficient solution: Prestabo XL is also available in 64 mm. 5

Use the peeling tool to remove white PP sleeves on pipes for surface-mounted installations. And use Viega press fitting tools to create safe connections in a matter of seconds. A full range for heating installations: Prestabo offers individual dimensions to suit large and small projects. The press fittings and pipes are available in system dimensions 15, 18, 22, 28, 35, 42 and 54 mm pipes with white PP sleeves are also available in these sizes for surface-mounted installations. The range is completed by Prestabo XL, which features press fittings and pipes with the following dimensions: 64.0, 76.1, 88.9 and 108.0 mm. The material used for Prestabo is also impressive: the externally galvanised steel guarantees the longterm reliability you require from your installations. Pressing has become even more convenient Press fitting with the latest generation of Viega press fitting tools is even more convenient than before: innovative battery technology, ergonomically optimised pistol shape and less overall weight are characteristic of a technology that is deemed to be pioneering in the world of SHAC. Pressgun 4B and Pressgun 4E can easily be operated with one hand and are fitted with a press fitting head that rotates by a full 180. The hinged tie jaw with patented hinge function and the four press rings in sizes 64.0, 76.1, 88.9 and 108.0 mm offer maximum flexibility in XL format, as they enable you to press at virtually any angle in relation to the press fitting. That makes it easier for you to work in confined spaces. 7
Viega has clearly marked its Prestabo to avoid it being mistaken for drinking water installation systems: the red rectangle with the Viega mark that indicates Not approved for drinking water installations!, the red marking of the SC- Contur on the press fittings and the red line on the pipes and PP sleeves. The caps protecting the pipes against transport damage and contamination are also red as are the marks on the labels of the pale red Prestabo pouch packs. SC-Contur for all sizes As with all other dimensions, the new Prestabo XL sizes are equipped with the Viega SC-Contur, which makes it easy for you to identify press connections that have been missed by accident: when the system is filled with water, it visibly leaks from non-pressed connections at a pressure of 1.0 to 6.5 bar. Viega guarantees fault-free functioning of the SC-Contur. Once pressed, the connection is permanently safe and sealed this reliability has been proven a million times over. 9
