Remove all parts, hardware and protective packaging from carton and carefully arrange on a clean, level surface. NOTE: To avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware, retain all carton contents until after assembly and installation are complete. (D) STEP 1: ASSEMBE FIXTURE Thread the Fixture Loop (D) onto the nipple at the top center of the Fixture Body (C). (C) STEP 2: ASSEMBLE CROSSBAR Attach the Nipple (E) to the Mounting Bar by screwing in the Nipple and locking it on the opposite side with the Lock Washer (J) and Nut (K). (K) (J) (E) STEP 3: ATTACH MOUNTING BAR Secure the Mounting Bar to the Oulet Box with the Mounting Screws (F). Tighten until snug. (F) Page 3 of 5
STEP 4: ATTACH HARDWARE Attach the Canopy by locking it into place on the Nipple (E) with the Canopy Loop and Collar. (E) STEP 5: ADJUST CHAIN LENGTH Adjust the Chain to your desired length by removing the links if needed. May need chain pliers. Attach one end of the Chain to the Canopy Loop and then attach the other end of the Chain to the loop at the top of the Fixture Body (C). (C) STEP 6: THREAD CORD Weave the Cord and bare Ground Wire through the Chain about every third link. Slide the Collar on the Canopy Loop down with the Canopy. NOTE: To prevent risk fire or electrical shock, the chain must support weight of fixture. DO NOT hang fixture by cord. Page 4 of 5
STEP 7: ATTACH ELECTRICAL Trim wires to required length to make connection. Strip ends of 1/2" insulation. Using a wire connector, attach bare ground wire from fixture to bare ground wire in junction box. Wrap both around green screw on Mounting Strap and firmly tighten. The parallel cord attached to fixture is composed of two wires, one smooth and the other ribbed along the edge. The smooth wire connects to the black wire in junction box and the ribbed to white wire. Firmly secure each with a Wire Connector. (See diagram below) (G) WHITE OR RIBBED RIBBED BROWN FROM HOUSE BLACK OR RED OR SMOOTH FROM FIXTURE SMOOTH BROWN FROM HOUSE FROM FIXTURE STEP 8: INSTALL CANOPY Slide Canopy back up the Chain and screw the Collar back into place. STEP 9: INSTALL BULBS (not included) Sockets rated up to 60 Watt Max Type B Candelabra Incandescent bulbs. LED recommended 450-600 Lumens, 2700K Warm or Soft White STEP 10: Connect breaker and turn on Light. Cleaning & Care: To clean, wipe the Fixture with a soft, dry cloth.
