BLOWER High speed blower is provided with fluidized bed processor. Flow of the air is controlled with simple knob provided on control panel. SPRAY GUN TOP & BOTTOM GUN Two spray guns are separately provided for both top and bottom spray coating. The spray gun delivers droplets of the coating solution on the pellets. Its superb performance is achieved by use of a new range of nozzles made up of SS304/SS-316 and metered dozing with the help of peristaltic pumps. It is easily adjustable along with its standard. You can achieve droplet size from 50 to 5000 micron depending on viscosity of solution. Standard nozzle size of spray guns is 1 mm and customized sizes are also available as per the requirement. AIR FILTER CONTROLLER It filters and removes moisture coming from compressor and also controls the flow rate. We can set air pressure in psi or bar. OPERATION Top-Spray Coating Spray coating can be used for all fluid bed systems, be it in batch or continuous operation or if the film is applied from a sprayed solution or suspension. For this processing option the parameters have to be chosen to avoid agglomeration, i.e. liquid bridges between the air suspended particles. If spraying a solution or suspension the liquid only serves as a vehicle to deliver the coating material to the surface of the substrate. The quality of the coating extensively depends on the statistical residence time of the particles in the coating zone. For a classic fluid bed unit only top-spray coating is possible. Bottomspray arrangement can be made by replacement of container. A perfect film is generally not required for this function, but care must be taken that the droplets do not become too viscous before touching the substrate, in order to maintain a good spreadability. As however neither the particle motion, nor the travel distance of droplet from nozzle to substrate are uniform the film structure is generally rather porous, but nevertheless measuring up to the above described requirements. Bottom-Spray Coating CONTROL PANEL PERISTALTIC PUMP Advanced control panel offers complete control over the various setting for the coater. Peristaltic pump delivers exact amount of solution to the spray gun through silicon pipe. This processing option uses the energies and controls of the fluid bed to create a pneumatic mass transport inside a special insert, which consists of a perforated bottom screen with defined free areas. This uniform statistical residence time of all particles in the coating zone results in a very homogenous coating. Due to the high kinetic energy provided by the pneumatic mass flow moist particles are separated, as such allowing the individual coating of even very small particles. Due to the nozzle being positioned directly inside the product and concurrently spraying a premature viscosity change of the coating droplet is avoided. All this features result in the highest possible coating quality, which is imperatively required to produce defined and reproducible drug delivery profiles.

For making oral dissolving films or transdermal films, set the temperature of glass tabletop according to the solution/suspension with the help of control panel. Set the dragger screw gauges for required height considering evaporation, which reduces the thickness of film. Keep the dragger and dragger guide on glass tabletop. Pour the prepared bubble free solution/suspension of drug, film former and plasticizer and drag it with dragger on glass tabletop. After drying the films it can be removed and cut as per the content and weight uniformity. 6. Exhaust REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION Film Former requires an extremely levelled base to function correctly. Electricity. Effective earthing to the equipment must be ensured. HEATER The heater heats the inlet air at the desired temperature required to dry the tablets. It can be controlled to deliver the air at 30 C (ambient) to 80 C. SOLUTION The new R & D coater is designed to fulfill the specific need, with the help of unique array of smaller coating pan sizes of 4 & 6 which ensures the quantity of the test batch never exceeds the requirement. FEATURES The R & D coater has the exterior appearance of an elegant fabricated box with coating pan supported in a tangential position of 35 to 90. The entire drive mechanism is concealed with the box leaving only the hub, supporting the coating pan, projected outwards to enable vertical rotary momentum. EXHAUST PIPE EXHAUST AIR FILTER & CONTROLLER Unwanted fumes and dust (generated by core tablets & coating material) can be cleared through the exhaust pipes from the coating pan. COATING PAN Coating pan has been made from pure SS 304/SS 316 quality material, it consists of central cylindrical portion. Opening front side known as pan mouth. Baffles are provided along the interior walls for efficient coating. The pan is detachable and available in an array of sizes 4 and 6. Pan rpm can be set from 3 to 100 rpm. It filters and removes moisture coming from compressor and also controls the flow rate. We can set air pressure in psi or bar.

OPERATION The R & D Coater is an integrated and semi-automatic unit consisting of stainless steel coating pan, a spraying system, a hot air blower, and an exhaust system. it uses the rotary momentum of the coating pan to tumble the tablets/granules contained within it. Baffles are provided along the interior walls of the pan to tilt the contents for efficient coating. As film coating requires a spray technique, a spray gun delivers finely nebulized droplets of the coating solution onto the moving bed, in such a manner as to ensure uniform coverage. The tablets are dried by directing a stream of hot air onto the surface of the tablet bed and the exhaust between 60 C- 80 C, to achieve better performance. All the setting, including the temperature and rotation speeds can be measured and adjusted accurately using the advance control panel. Feeding and retrieving the tablets/granules from the pan should be done with scoop, and the various parameters for coating should be established through trials. SPRAY GUN Spray gun delivers droplets of the coating solution onto the tablet bed. Its superb performance is achieved by the use of a new range of nozzles made by pure SS 304/SS 316 & metered dozing with the help of a peristaltic pump. It is easily adjustable along with its stand. A solar still is a simple way of distilling water, using the heat of the sun to drive evaporation of water to water vapors from still, and ambient air to cool water vapor. The pure water vapors condense on the cool inside glass/plastic surface and drips down from the weighted low point, where it is collected and removed. The basic principles of solar water distillation are simple yet effective, as distillation replicates the way nature makes rain. The sun's energy heats water to the point of evaporation. As the water evaporates, water vapor rises, condensing on the glass surface for collection. This process removes impurities such as salts and heavy metals as well as eliminates microbiological organisms. The water cleaned by solar water distllation is purer than rain water.
