HEAT RECOVERY SOLUTION www.loveenergysolutions.com
Introducing our Commercial Heat Recovery Solution... Our state-of-the-art heat recovery system has been designed with all businesses in mind. The system utilises waste heat from a premises and converts this into hot water to be used on-site. The system can also be used to boost a businesses central heating system when necessary. This is all done without the need for major alterations, with no effect on the current system meaning it can be quickly and easily retrofitted to any site, providing significant cost savings and a fantastic ROI. Key Benefits Include: Saves money No alterations to current system Quick and easy installation No routine or annual maintenance Can be used within central heating system on the site as well as provide hot water Works on independently even after service has closed MCS Accredited WRAS and KIWA Approved Grant funding approved Fully Warranted Can be installed in conjunction with our Solar PV system in order to provide additional savings.
The Heat Recovery Panel has been ingeniously designed... The Heat panel has been ingeniously designed to maximise the absorption of energy from the extracted air and can be installed in either portrait or landscape orientation. The panels contain a refrigerant liquid which has a starting temperature of -22 degrees. It is this incredibly low starting temperature that allows panels to absorb energy from the site allowing it to operate throughout the working day and then continue after business hours if required. The panels can be installed in a variety of locations onsite and are placed to optimise performance and waste heat absorption. As the refrigerant liquid passes around the panel, the extracted air passes over the panel with heat coming off the premises raising the temperature of the liquid. The refrigerant liquid has a boiling point of -15 degrees. Once the liquid reaches this temperature it vaporises into a gas form. This gas is now taken into your water cylinder where it is compressed to create heat energy. This energy is used within the water cylinder to heat your water supply efficiently providing you with hot water generated from the waste heat. The process will repeat until the hot water demand has been satisfied.
The all in one solution to your hot water heating requirements... Our Heat Recovery Box is the all in one solution to your hot water heating requirements. Enabling us to offer a complete range of Heat Recovery systems, with either our 130L, 200L or 300L indirect, unvented cylinder, suitable for all installations. This hot water heating and storage system has been MCS tested and carries all the required approvals. How does the heat recovery box work? The heat recovery panel circulates refrigerant liquid where energy is absorbed from the waste heat onsite. This transforms the liquid into a gas, which carries the heat energy to the Heat Recovery box. The heat recovery box then compresses the gas which increases the temperature. The spent gas reverts back to a liquid which flows back in the panel, allowing the process to start again. Simultaneously, the superheated gas heats the water within the cylinder using a proprietary process. This process continues until the water in the cylinder reaches 55C. Once this is achieved the system goes into standby mode.
Commercial Heat Recovery Solution Benefits The system has been designed to utilise the waste heat from a site in order to provide businesses with all of their hot water requirements and boost the central heating system temperature when required. Quick and Easy Installation Process There is no need for major alterations and there will be no affect on the existing system meaning it can be quickly and easily retrofitted to any site and the average installation time is just 1 day. Warranty included The system comes complete with a 5-year manufacturer warranty on the compressor, 10 years on the panel and 25 years on the portable hot water cylinder. Cost Effective Solution The heat recovery solution is cost effective to run with very low annual costs and requires little to no maintenance. We can remove all costs of the system with the installation of our Solar PV system. Converts waste heat The system converts waste heat from the cook line into 55C hot water that can be used onsite any time. It also continues working independently, even after service has closed.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ s) 1. What is the size of the panel? The heat recovery panels are (L)170mm x (W) 800m x (D) 25mm 2. What is the refrigerant liquid in the panels? The panels are filled with R134a 3. How does the system heat hot water? Liquid refrigerant (R134a in liquid state) is circulated through the evaporating panel, where the refrigerant absorbs heat from the environment surrounding the panel, evaporating the refrigerant in the process. The compressor then receives the evaporated refrigerant (R134 in gaseous state) from the evaporator. The compressor heats this refrigerant up to 90C. The heated refrigerant is then pushed to the integral heat exchanger wrapped around the hot water cylinder, where the heat contained within the heated refrigerant is transferred into the potable water contained within the hot water cylinder, heating the water to 55C. 4. What is the re-heat time of the Heat Recovery Solution? If 30L of water is drawn from the potable hot water cylinder of the Heat Recovery Solution, the system will reheat the cylinder within 3 hours. 5. What is the standing loss heat of the water contained within the Heat Recovery Solutions? - The standing heat loss of the 130L Heat Recovery Solution is 840W/24hr - The standing heat loss of the 200L Heat Recovery Solution is 920W/24hr - The standing heat loss of the 300L Heat Recovery Solution is 1180W/24hr 6. What is the compressor noise level? The compressor is very quiet at no more that 41db when running fully 7. How many panels can I have connected together? The maximum panels you can have connected together is 2. 8. What is the maximum power output in kwh from the system? The maximum output is 2.2 kwh. 9. What is the electrical requirement of the system? The system will require no more than 650w when running to full operation.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ s) 10. Is this maximum output governed by the compressor size or amount of heat absorbed by panels? 2.2 kwh is the maximum output of the system, this is governed by the compressor. 11. How much condensate would you expect from a panel located internally? You should expect up to 50ml / 24 hour 12. Could you remove the requirement of a boiler with this system and back up immersion? As per part L, all hot water storage should be provided with 2 heat sources for the event of a heat source failure. With the Heat Recovery Solution, the integral solar assisted heat pump is one heat source, the integral immersion heater is the second heat source. 14. What guarantees do you get with the system? The system comes complete with a 5-year manufacturer s warranty on the compressor, 10 years on the panel and 25 years on the potable hot water cylinder. 15. Is this system really one of a kind? Yes. The systems is the only one of it s kind in the UK and is owned and operated by Love Energy Solutions. 16. Can the system be installed in conjunction with other renewable technologies? Yes. The heat recovery solution can be used in conjunction with our solar systems which have been designed to provide heat recovery box with the power it requires during daylight hours, thus removing the requirement for additional power. There is no requirement for the boiler to be connected, however on installation if a boiler can be connected to the Heat Recovery Solution, we will install the boiler as best practice. 13. What is the average installation time? The average installation time is 1 day. However, this may depend on the scope of the job.
