This is a favorite time of year for many. Football is in full swing and the weather is finally cooling off. Let me first say thank you to your Vice President Jason Butler for conducting the business meeting for September and also to Stan Maciaszek for presenting changes to NFPA 72. I heard that the meeting went very well. Our attendance was excellent. Next month we will move the meeting to Lexington so that our friends in the Columbia area do not have to travel as far. Our last meeting at the Flight Deck was great. The building is a more like an aviation museum than a restaurant. encourage all to attend to see the pictures and model airplanes as well as hear one of our own, Ralph Foster, who will be the presenter. We are always looking for service projects, so if you know of a way that we can help others as well as further the knowledge of fire protection please let us know.
