AF-810 and AF-820 Venetian blinds Flexible. Blinds and more.
Flexible sun and weather protection AF-810 and AF-820 venetian blinds with flat slats AF-810 and AF-820 venetian blinds with 80 mm-wide flat slats are remarkable for their minimal package and recess, allowing tall windows and thus plenty of light. The flat, flexible slats ensure good visibility through the blind and offer increased resistance to deformation. In the AF-810 model the slats are guided at the sides by filigree chrome steel cables, whilst in the AF-820 model every other slat is guided by guide bolts on rails, alternating left and right.
Textured coating The innovative textured coating used for the slats demonstrates significantly better colour retention and weather resistance properties than the conventional smooth coating. Dirt adhesion is substantially reduced and the slats are easy to clean. Automated convenience Both models can be equipped with electric drives, which offer increased comfort. In conjunction with the corresponding controller, this meets the Minergie standard. Excellent materials Daylight use The blind can be split into two or three sections with different slat inclines. Open slats in the upper section enable daylight to penetrate into the depths of the room, while closed slats in the lower section serve as glare protection for the window. Flanged holes for 8 mm-wide lift tapes, Kevlar-reinforced support cords, chrome steel cable guides and slats with textured coating all ensure that the blinds will last for a long time. Range of colours Four standard colours are available to choose from, plus more than a thousand RAL, NCS and IGP colours.
Optional self-supporting system for AF-820 The self-supporting blind system with no mounting in the recess area preserves insulation, reduces noise transmission and prevents thermal bridges (Minergie standard). A central support is required for widths of 2400 mm or more. Protective holes The flanged holes prevent the 8 mm-wide lift tape from fraying. Not using protective plastic grommets avoids the need for premature repairs. Minimal package height Minimal package and recess height allow for tall windows and thus plenty of light. This is also an ideal solution for mounting positions with little space for sun protection.
Filigree cable guidance AF-810 flat slats are guided by filigree chrome steel cables 2 mm thick. Robust rail guidance AF-820 flat slats are guided by guide bolts on side rails every other slat, alternating left and right.

Lowering In the standard model, the slats are lowered in closed position. Slat position can be adjusted at any height. Adjusting The «daylight use» variant enables different slat positions in the upper and lower sections. Raising The blind is raised with the slats in horizontal position or inclined slightly inwards. This allows the maximum amount of light to penetrate and ensures a gentle sliding motion for the lift tape. Development Storenmaterial AG www.stoma.ch Sales Blinds and more.
