A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT Linden Garden Club Members and Friends, Happy August and Summer!!! Hope you are having a great summer, gardening, traveling, visiting with family or just sitting by the pool with a good book. Our first meeting is a little over a month away and I still have not finalized the date, but you can plan on either 9/14 or 9/21. Will get details to you as soon as I can!! I will tell you that I am planning a casual meet and greet, with Brunch and Mimosas. Again, I feel very honored to have been elected to be the President of the Linden Garden Club and look forward to our 2017-2018 meeting year and working with all of you!! Cathy Broutsas LINDEN GARDEN We have experienced another hot humid month of North Carolina weather. The weeds have certainly grown because they have received a lot of rain water. The flowers and shrubs are blooming and look great on the corner. An eblast asking for helpers to clean up the garden last Thursday was sent to the members. This is strictly a volunteer job and I appreciate all the help I received. Jane Waldemar
